And I just had to post this (found on FB this morning).

579565_10201086835961589_87247152_n.jpg

My husband and i were dressed and ready to go out for a lovely evening of dinner and theatre. Having been burgled in the past, we turned on a 'night light' and the answering machine, then put the cat in the backyard. When our cab arrived, we walked out our front door and our rather tubby cat scooted between our legs inside, then ran up the stairs. Because our cat likes to chase our budgie we really didn't want to leave them unchaperoned so my husband ran inside to retrieve her and put her in the back yard again.

Because i didn't want the taxi driver to know our house was going to be empty all evening, i explained to him that my husband would be out momentarily as he was just bidding goodnight to my mother. A few minutes later he got into the cab all hot and bothered, and said (to my growing horror and amusement) as the cab pulled away.

"Sorry it took so long but the stupid ..... was hiding under the bed and i had to poke her .... with a coat hanger to get her to come out! She tried to take off so i grabbed her by the neck and wrapped her in a blanket so she wouldn't scratch me like she did last time. But it worked! I hauled her fat .... down the stairs and threw her into the backyard....she had better not .... in the vegetable garden again."

The silence in the taxi was deafening.....
OMG!! LMAO!!

From the site's homepage:

We are very pleased to announce that deejStuff is back to normal operations.

deej is still healing, but has returned to full-time mixing. This means that, unless something untowards happens, all orders will be shipped (or ready to ship) within 96 hours (4 days). Obviously, weekends and holidays can impact that.

We want to thank all of our customers for their patience while deej healed with a 10% discount code. Please use Coupon Code Full Steam Ahead to take 10% off your order (shipping charges not included). This code will expire on 08-May-2013.

----------------
feel free to pass this around...

Dealt, stolen and all that stuff.

So I've got a 10% code, a 15% code, points (didn't use them during the crisis) -- pretty soon Deej is going to have to pay me when I place an order.

(ETA: Joking -- I assume they're not stackable.)

ETA2: And my last order is "out for delivery." :toast:

 I thought the same thing earlier when I saw this, but yeah I wouldn't use them all at once, unless it was a real vapemergency that is! 8-o

Tip of the Day: The necks of Deej's 10ml premixed bottles nestle perfectly in the top of his 60ml glass bottles. You can pour them in without losing a drop.

I bought big a bottle of Peppermint Taffy last year. Even after washing, it still smelled like PT. Perfect place to merge the 6 bottles of pre-mixed Peppermint I received today. (I Sharpied out the word "Taffy" but ignored the "mixed on" date which, weirdly enough, was only 35 days off.)

Now if I could only figure out where to merge the 6 bottle of Sweet Gingerbread and 6 of Tiramisu. I have a couple of cobalt glass bottles that Amy sent me, but they're only 30ml each. (Speaking of Amy, according to her Facebook, she finally moved. I don't know where, but…)

ETA: When you're cleaning, anyone else regularly come across plastic bottles with pens and red cards in them?

Quick little "pick me up".

So, you think you're having a bad day eh? Just remember it could always be worse. For example, this could be YOUR $1.7 million dollar car.

Suddenly running out of corn flakes (again) or getting stuck in traffic causing you to be late for work, just doesn't seem like that big of an issue...
