As a Brit I'm definitely not going to get into the rights and wrongs of your gun laws .
We have some of the tightest controls anywhere , brought in on the back of a couple of notorious mass shootings .
London has a higher murder rate than New York .
In our cities the only people with guns are police and criminals.
In rural areas there are thousands of shotguns and rifles yet gun crime is rare.
Make of that what you will.
