I think you need anabolic steroids for that.
I usually do fine, but I pretty much won't take them for more than 5 days, as it's a really short drive to the psych unit and etc. I did EAT THE WHOLE kitchen last night, it was pretty sweet.
My mom took high dose steroids for many years (she had Khrone's disease (I can't spell it). She gained like double her body weight, then my dad divorced her. To be fair, to call her "sane" on that dosage well, it's impossible to do so.
It did indelibly print into me and my sister's minds (I think, we're both exercise freaks) "Don't gain double your body weight, those who love you will leave you." It's kind of messed up thinking, and at one point I ALSO gained a ton of weight (like 80 lbs, due to a med) and the husband didn't seem to care. I did. LOL.
But yeah, steroids of the type handed out by doctors seem to be designed to: cause horrible bodily problems, and weight gain of an unpleasant sort, and sometimes make a person nuts, well me, anyway.
I'm super allergic to poison ivy, and ran into some in my 20s. Eventually, after several doc appointments, the doc just handed me a script for 200 pills, told me to keep increasing by 10 mg every day, until the poison ivy left, and then after a week, start tapering down. Not fun times.
I guess it's better than like, dying, but only slightly.
