*I* did not convict me with Judge Judy it was the
@Kn0ttYFive who did that. SHE hurled the JJ accusations around, not me.
I have been in (admittedly courtrooms in Tucson and they DID vote that JUDGES could be non lawyers one fine ballot box ago) and seriously what happens on Judge Judy.... Well, it looks like um, Judge Judy is HIGH Shakespeare. You should see the ACTUAL lawyers try to sneak "unknown law" (I don't mean it's not REAL law, just UNKNOWN to the judges) past the judges, all respectful like, and looking like they are trying to not slit their wrists under their suits.
I know what *I* would be thinking and it would be "I am paying off a REAL law degree for this twit who ran out her term in the statehouse, what was that separation of three executive branches again?"
My favorite thing that happened was like the dude scheduled to "rise" before her Judgeness, well she got the files mixed up and was busily convicting my son, "Mr. So an So" and I was deeply frightened the mistake would NEVER be corrected because BOTH lawyers mentioned it and the guy before had a really nasty record. I was worried my son was gonna go to prison for people trafficking and money laundering but finally her clerk, SNATCHED the files from her hands, muttered, "I need to go off record for a moment" and said "THIS is the file you want for this particular plaintiff." And her Judgliness went, "Ah hahah that doesn't happen every day." And I muttered, "I am going off the record for this but I bet it DOES."
You can always get worse than Judge Judy and that is because there exists this sinkhole into Satan's land and that particular sinkhole is named "Arizona Elevator Down--Tucson."
I will say, a real lawyer, my sis, is not her greatest fan, no.
