I HATE clearos. Once I really learned how to use a carto tank I never looked back. Set up is a little more difficult, but the end result is well worth it. Sense then I discovered the Reo and now I'm truly in love.

This...It pains me see some get discouraged with clearos and vivi novas. I know tanks aren't as sexy, but they are work horses and once you get your ohms vs. voltage down, they're hard to beat.

I have tried and will continue to try new juice delivery devices as they are released. Eventually there will be something that is as trouble free as a carto, but with the convenience of a clearo and the taste that a dripping atty provides. Untill that days comes I will hold onto my carto tanks. I (like everyone else here) am in search for the perfect vape. Discouraged I am not. :)

thanks,,,,,,,

I am a little happier with my EVODs today than yesterday,,,,,yet the flavor is still muted and the draw is still airy.

I'm rocking my cartos on my non vv,,,,,,and using my clearos (albeit a little disappointedly) on my vv.

sigh, I'm going to be one of those people with 6 PVs in my hands,,,,,,,,,,

Best delivery device. UPS
Worst - FedEx

Device? Those aren't exactly devices....they are services.

As for best delivery device, as you mentioned, very subjective.

I prefer Pro-tanks and EVOD bccs.

I haven't tried carto tanks yet, but I'm looking forward to trying them down the road.

Right now though, ever since I've found EVODs and pro tanks.....I have no desire to spend more money on any other system that may...or may not work as well.

The evods and pro tanks are WONDERFUL.

My most recent batch of EVODs definitely had tighter wicks than earlier ones. Kanger must be fussing with the design to get rid of gurgling complaints with thin juices. If you are getting dry hits, something is wrong. My suggestion would be take one of the heads and remove the two top wicks; replace the tube thing on top and "fluff" the ends of the wick so it fills the corners at the top of the wick openings. Set your PV for around 7 or 8 watts and adjust from there.

Once you get it set up right and wicking properly, look out because it will fill a room with clouds and provide rich, flavorful vapor. I use 20/80 thick juice and routinely get my EVODs going at 10+ watts with wicking to spare. Not bad for a pretty much off the shelf clearo that cost about 6 bucks.

I even use the FastTech knock-off EVODs and I don't get dry hits. I do fill when it is 1/2 full though.

Yeah. It seems that the trick with tankomizers (EVOD's and MT3's are not really "clear") is to never let them get even close to being empty. Thicker juices tend to gom up the wicks a little quicker, so a quick clean and a very quick (one mississippi, two mississippi) dry burn usually clears them up. Even the throwaway T4 style clear tanks benefit from on occasional hot bath. Those things--which are supposed to last about as long as a refillable carto--can last for months with decent care.

The great thing about how rapidly this technology is developing is that sooner or later, there's going to be some kind of system that suits everyone's needs and tastes.

I don't think it will happen. An externally adjustable draw and flow could be made but it would increase price. Even if it was perfect you'd have some people wanting cheaper.

I can't believe there are so many people here saying cartos are best (even with tanks), that is so far from what I like I don't think we could ever find common ground in what would please us both.

I've NEVER gotten a dry hit from a pro tank, or an evod. Having said that, I also rarely, if EVER let my Evods and Pro tanks get below 1/2 juice full.

Usually at the 1/2 way mark is when I fill my evods and pro tanks back up to the top. Works like a charm.

What I meant was that with so many different systems available now--and with more sure to come in the future--everyone will find something that they like, even if it's radically different from what someone else likes. One size has never fit all, and never will.

Same here. And when it's time to change flavors, the tank and head get flushed with scalding hot water. A two second dry burn with just the head attached evaporates the remaining moisture and in goes the juice.

I can go along with that.

I'm almost there with tanks on wicks and VW.

There is no one correct answer to the OP's question .......... never will be.

Well as I said I still use the 1.1ml tanks with my ego. A guy at the bar I play pool at tonight had a big battery mod with an evod on it and some 14mg menthol.

I can honestly say I get better vape and taste from my tanks on my Ovale 650mah battery with dekang 6mg menthol.

I think the e-cig makers want to sell more juice (duh) so are creating devices that carry more and burn through it quicker. Might sound cynical, but they are essentially for profit corporations / companies and they all rely on growth.

Maybe I'm just easily pleased, but I don't see me buying any new gear, experimenting with new juices maybe, but I'm happy with the ego-c and tanks, was really unimpressed with the flavor from that guys clearo tank or whatever you're supposed to call them.

Maybe he had bad juice or a cheap knock off though, who knows.

You see the thing is; when I take my "big battery mod", and whatever atty/carto/clearo I happen to be using at the moment, I set it up to taste the way I want. What anyone else wants isn't even part of the equation. So maybe the guy at the bar had his set up for the way he wants.

Some of us have just figured out that our setups don't have to taste the way a vendor or manufacturer wants is all.

Almost any setup is capable of making smoke come out your ears, if that is what you want. OR, almost any setup is capable of producing a cool mellow vape, if that is what you want ... or anything in between ... if that is what you want.

I am loving carto tanks the most. That said, I also use CE5s, CE6s, Protank and most recently a Vivi Nova clone.

I am finding though for optimal performance I end up rebuilding the heads for the clearos. 9/10 they are better than the stock ones I buy. The Vivi was a prime example of this. It came with 3 heads. ALL THREE the coil was wrapped so tight it was choking the juice wicking and giving me horrid dry hits. SO I swapped to a replacement head I had picked up when I ordered the vivi. Now it was flooding constantly and dripping liquid through the connection post. Rebuilt all 4 heads and haven't had a dry hit or flooding or one drop leaked since.

I try lots of different devices since I am of the opinion you never know if something is going to be better for you until you try it. Carto tanks are going to be hard to beat though. ;)
