After 3 years of searching I still can't find a certain flavor I've been chasing. Every pre-made I've bought with a relevant title doesn't match the flavor. Even caramels just don't have that Original Werther's taste that I love.
The best I can describe it is a vanilla custard with dulce de leche. Sounds simple. I've added a number of caramels to my vanilla custards. I'm still not getting that browned sugar/milk flavor I'm dying for. A mixer suggested Caramel Cream from NF. Said it was heavenly. At this point, I'd settle for a good caramel and a good vanilla. I love the natural vanilla that Clay Packard (N-E-T) uses in his Ry4.1, as an example. I haven't tried NF's caramel cream if anyone has suggestions.
As a note, I tried Perfection Vapes, Krackle Kringle, and I swear there was a hint of what I was looking for in there. But they say they add "something" else to the rice krispy treat recipe. I'm baffled and would greatly appreciate the expertise of all the DIYers here.
I'm not an experienced DIYer but will exert myself, if need be, to attain my goal. I invite any suggestions on pre-mades or flavor companies that may have what I need.
Thanks a bunch
