I'M BACK!!! On the UP side, it was NOT a detached retina!! 
On the down-side, I have a diseased cornea. That sucks a lot more, unfortunately..
I have to see the specialist tomorrow. Apparently, when looking into my eye, when it had the stain in there, it's like looking at "broken glass".
Well, it's the peanut butter jar for me, I suppose, a gal's gotta drown her sorrows in SOMETHING..Angus, can I see you over here at your convenience? Ta.

This sucks! Diseased cornea doesn't sound like a garden party! I am off to read up on it.

Don't ya just love/hate doctors offices? I love it when they tell you to show up 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment to fill out paperwork. As if you're actually not gonna be in the waiting room for an hour past that time with nothing to do... I tell them I will if they can assure me that I'll see the doc right at the scheduled time.

Well, ain't THIS a kicker? The Specialist's office called this morning to tell me that she's on holidays until July 9th!! She told me to get in touch with my family Dr. and gave me a few other names for her to contact. VERY nice about the whole thing. Then I remembered that today is Friday and my family doc doesn't WORK Fridays! 
I'm going to try to call them myself and see what happens I guess...when it rains, it pours...

aww! /hug! Hope your better fast and that specialist better be special! Make sure to tell her we need you and your eyes asap!
