Hey Everyone,

Got my 5V Detonator from Robert. Thanks Rob..
Works very nice. I saw you make these in the video you made recently and could see your work was quality!

I have to say it is the best flashlight mod I had had to date.

I'm attaching several pics. I know they aren't too good but I was wondering how it would fit in the hand when I got it. Fits very nice and feels good. I also like the main kill switch on the end cap. The Leds are cool also!! Just wanted to say thanks!

Tried this with a 801 too and works awesome..

Ive been using The Chuck at 6V and there is a difference but a good one :)

Keep up the good work..

how much are they going for? Hey Robert on a side not- I got 5 of those 5v regulators you recommend (or use) on your detonators. I don't know if I am skilled enough at this point to do a flashlight mod- so I think I am going to try on a battery box first- But heres my idea- I want to know what you think.

I know this might be kinda pointless but I am doing it for practice and Ive never vaped at 5v yet. So I want to make a dual voltage mod- it will obviously have two momentary switches- on the first I want to use unregulated power (or 6v on 2 rcr123a 3v bats) and then the other button 5v on the regulator you use (Thanks to TI for the free samples!). I know this probably sounds pointless to some but I have never vaped at 5v so can't judge the difference between 5v and 6v (or unregulated). If you wouldn't mind could you kinda give a wiring road map for how I should go about this.

I am a noob when it comes to modding- I have mada a NicoStick so I have a very slight understaning to wiring but here is my best shot on how I should wire it up.

From the battery connector piece (where the atmoizer connects to): 5v first w/ regulator ->Positive wire- Center of battery connector to switch 1. Negative wire- outside of connector to neg battery holder spring..... man I am getting very confused- I am trying to look at my NicoStick as a reference- but I am getting very confused. Robert or someone else- would you mind helping a newb out and help me map out my dual voltage dual button idea. 5v with volt reg and 6v un-reg? I would be forever in debt if you could help me out and keep me from pounding my head against the desk.

Thanks! - I'm trying my best...

good point- I did watch the vid up till you were wiring up the regulator- sorry about that. Let me re-watch those first. The other day when I was watching the videos I didn't have my 5v regulators yet so I didn't pay very close attention to the wiring part- at the time I was having a hellish time trying to get the LED Circuit board out of the flashlight and thats the part of the video I kept watching over and over. Now that you mentioned it I forgot you show me how to wire it right there- I forgot about that. Let me re-watch your videos about wiring up the regulator- I apologize. I am going to re-watch them tonight and start working on my mod tomorrow. If you don't mind- can you check back on this thread tomorrow? I am sure I will have some questions once I actually start working on the mod. Once again, I forgot about the rest of your videos- duh. :)

Thanks for your help though!

Click link under my signature to see pics of my latest improvment I've made to my Detonators- You couild probly ruin the newest ones over with the car and they would still work- stronger on the inside. But yeah watch those video's again. Then add the improvements to your mod. BTW- I never made a box mod- who wants a plastic box? Get a flashlight- it not that hard.

ps now I remember you- Did you ever hit that thing hard enough with a hammer? or hit it the correct dirrection?
