The epipe seems to me to produce a lot of vapour in comparison to my classic. The draw is easy and it produces a strong, heavy flavour. I think my tastes are more for a lighter 'smoke' so I've not got along with it very well but it would suit someone who wants a stronger flavour.

It's also (if I may say) a chunkier, heavier more substantial device; more of a masculine kind of thing I think. If I wanted the hit I wouldn't mind but I get enough of a hit from my classic if I drip it with a decent atomiser and battery.

To be honest Naz I don't have much experience with these devices so I wouldn't take anything I say about them too seriously. If you want my epipe pm me and I'll send it to you ... it's nearly unused and I'm looking for a good home for it.

Ned- the pipe you have, is that from loongtotem? Or another company? also, if it's from the loongtotem- did you get hte throwaway cigars yet? Wondering how they perform? I'm looking for a substantial hitting esmoking device- the peipe you have, is the hit just overbearing and not pleasant? Do you think someone looking for a strong flavor and hit would object?

I have not received my pipes as yet or cigar from L. T. . but I also ordered tonight another pipe from E. cig.com plus a few of their own pen styles plus a some. Accessories like cases, batteries, charges,. Syringe,.
I also ordered flu cured tobacco cartridges as we love the liquid and I think it is ideal for the pipe as in the UK you can buy what they call is fruit tobacco for your real pipe which smells exactly the same as the liquid so I think it's a perfect combination for the pipe.
Nazareth so far out of all what I am using as far as more of an consistent hit is theJanty kiss box classic but with manual switch not auto apart from its QC issues I am loving it.
As for the L. T. that first cartridge I think I will be planning the funeral soon which has been over two weeks now but in the last few days I am finding that the draw is getting harder and the liquid and sponge has gone quite dark-coloured . so that must be the sign when they start performing like this. So I think I will be pulling the plug on the life-support machines soon.
So hopefully this week I might be able to start doing my Harold Wilson impressions again like I used to do as a child. Nazareth you probably wondering what the hell I am talking about but Kate will probably get my joke .


Kate I can't answer your question regarding making my own homebrew because basically I don't know how to do this so it would be good if people would kindly put some instructions on how we do this and where to get ingredients from or even video footage on this would be fantastic..

Where have you been Kate. It's been a bit quiet round here he he he he you know what I mean.
haven't tried doing home brew has yet because I don't know what to do. I do mix a few different liquids when topping up or adding another flavour liquid to normal tobacco taste.
But I am getting a bit frustrated with the lack of liquid available. I've had a bit off pillbox lately but I don't know if it's me but I find it very weak not much flavour like it's been thinned out . A few weeks back I bought the Marlborough pipe liquid off pillbox which was excellent but this last lot I think it's from a different supplier but don't quote me on this.
But I have had some of our Simon which has been okay so hopefully we will be able to try the old J. C. stuff soon.
But I do like personally the more tobacco tasting liquid but saying that I am into in a big way flu cured tobacco liquid. Don't know if you've tried it as yet but everybody that has try it in my house love it and it's great for the pipe.

Ned- I've yet to discover your secret for making your loongtotem cartridge last that long- I must be inhaling wrong or soemthing, too hard, I guess as mine burn out after abotu 30 hours. I do have one that I'm just doing single drags on (which produces a lighter vapor unfortunately) and will see how long this one goes- I'm at 29 hours right now (minus 8 hours sleeping, and bout 3-4 hours or so when I'm not vaping) so about 18 hours of workign this cartridge I'd say. I'm refilling frequently, and so far haven't had it heat up too much with a burnt taste, but the vapor does seem to be less even after this short amount of time. I think probably my need for lots of vapor causes me to try to keep inhaling too deeply or a ocuple of times and heats the coil up too much ror something- I keep catchign myself doing that. Gotta just recondition myself to only draw once and see how long it'll last that way

Nazareth I find one short light draw then longer light draw seems okay. You have to go slow with this atomiser.
But I think if we had a far more powered battery that might do the trick.
But like I said before I'm not just using the L. T. like you all day I tend to start the day with L. T. and then go on theJanty and then I find if I want a nice rich big hit I will pick up the L. T. for a while.
But as you know by now it does get warm and you keeping it warm using it constantly I don't think that's going to help in the longevity of the cartridge.

Yeah- I'm definately heating it up too much- I'll try just giving it slow easy drag with breaks inbetween hits instead of constant hits one right after hte other. wil lprobably go bonkers from lack of nic, but I'll give it a try- and besides, less nic will be better for4m me anyways- atomizer should fare better that way-

About more powerful battery- interestign you brign htis up- I tried my penstyle battery on the loong cartrridge, and it produced a ton of smoke with very little draw effort- it was actually quite qa bit better, and I hit it this way for abotu 2 hours off and on as I had to hold hte battery and homemade spacer togehteras I hit the contraption- it was hard to hold everythign inplace, but I was able to manage it. Anyway, this particular cartridge only lasted me 9 hours and completely burned out on me in one foul tasting go. Usually when my carts are burnign out, I'll get warnigns like hotter mouthpiece, and hotter vapor for an hour or so, then it'll start producign less and less vapor and then burn out- not so with that cartridge- it just went kaput. I think the bigger battery was a bit too much juice for it. I can't be sure, and it could have just been coincidence, but it sure seemed liek that was the case.

I've been taking it a bit easy with the internet recently Ned, had to put myself in time out, I was taking it too seriously and spending too much time on the web. Virtual reality is great an' all but my cats miss me in real life if I don't pay them enough attention (I'm a bit of a mad cat woman).

How would you both categorise the LoongTotem, is it a super mini? Perhaps the disposable cartridge/atomiser ecigs have a category of their own?

It's a supermini that works better than a Penstyle, or anythign else on the market right now as far as I know. The only problem with it is the taste- it's starts out rather tasteless (although it does have a fairly nice taste when hte cartridge is very fresh, but quickly loses that taste) and then it gets a plastic taste, not overpowering or anyhtign, but liek hte taste you get if you draw air htrough a straw-

The draw and vapor are really light on the htroat and lungs (unless you double and triple draw (taking 3 successive draws in a row before exhaling)- then it gives a small to medium throat/lung hit, but as I've found out, doing htis too much tends to burn out hte atomizer too soon (I say 'too soon' but in reality, these atmizers are lasting approx. 30 hours of very heavy usage- with lighter usage, you should be able to get 2-3 days or even more with refilling as Ned can attest to- I've yet to get one to go more than 30+ hours though due to my smoking heavy).

If you arel ooking for a small form factor mini ecigg, this one is abotu hte best as far as performance vaporwise- but again, the taste isn't the best- refilling htough does help the taste for a couple of real ciggs worth of vaping, but it soon goes right back to being tasteless, or towards the end of hte life of the atomizer, more andm ore plastic tasting, which refilling doesn't seem to help at that point- but we're talkign quite a few hours into the cartridge before this taste begins to overpower anyhtign you refill the device with
