There's a few here and it's been discussed. If I remember right most have had no problems.
I know, not a lot of help, but maybe bumping this thread will catch someone's eye.

Welcome by the way.

Consider me your recycling center for Njoy Pro, Smoking Everywhere Gold, Cloud 9, Smoke 51 Trio, and DSE103 useless batteries.
Other hardware if it’s still usable.
Those I loan out to/give to thank you.

My mom is also a type 2 diabetic. When she first started vaping she was very hungry and eating all of the wrong things. Since we upped her nic strength she is doing much better. It looks like she was just not getting enough nicotine. I have not heard about matabolizing tyhe vapor in to glucose. I will be interested to see if anyone has info on this.

There was/is a physician who was quite active on the boards and it was his feeling that there was little danger from it. However, if there was going to be a problem, it would likely be with the VG rather than the PG juice. Here's the link to that thread with their discussion. As the previous poster suggested, I would recommend frequent glucometer readings just to see if it's going to impact your FBSs or not.

In that youtube video about how cigarettes are made, they were saying that cigarette makes use alot of sugar in the cigarettes... No idea of what happens when it's combusted though

On that site WhyQuit - the Internet's leading cold turkey quit smoking resource this guy talks alot about nicotine causing our bodies to release stores of sugar into our blood, I think cigarettes and maybe even nicotine alone have a big effect on blood sugar ..

I'd be more concerned with nicotine itself than what (should be) little more than trace amounts of the other stuff

I'm Type II on Metformin and Glucophage. Been vaping slightly over 1 month now, with no observed impact on my blood sugar as a result of vaping.

I did have an issue with increased blood sugar (not dangerously, just noticeably) from eating more... the taste buds started waking back up.

But... I've vaped PG and PG/VG mixes with no noticeable change.

This is anecdotal, and limited to me. Offered for informational purposes only. And other standard disclaimers.

I'm type II on Metformin and insulin. No change in fsb for me. I have been vaping off and on since May 7th, quit analogs Aug 1. Only issue is boredom eating. Used to be if I was bored I would go out to have a smoke. No I have to get up walk around and find a different flavor to vape. Sometimes I just go mix a fresh batch of juice.

I find that I actually have been able to bring the sugar level down since I can now get the taste of PB cookies without actally eating them

I have been vaping for 15 months and I am a diabetic that has been on EVERYTHING! Now I use insulin and other meds to keep my Blood sugar in check. I do test a few times a day and have found no problem with P.G./V.g. mix. My counts use to be very high at night, now they are as low as in the day and I vape like a fool at night!
My counts are way down because I don't snack like I use to and I am drinking more water.
Check wiki for P.G. and V.G. they will tell you diabetics don't have to fear them. They are used to sweeten sugar free foods.
