Nice :). What color is it? Do you use it? If so, how does it vape? Any pics?

It's the pink and black one, but no, I have not used it. I just got it last week for a raffle prize. It came with 2, 18500 batts in a sealed wrapper and I haven't felt I should open up the batts and charge them or anything. lol. Maybe I will for at least the winner to be able to vape it right away. I would imagine it vapes like any other unregulated 3.7v mod.

I might have to unwrap those batteries that came with it now and charge them and just take a few puffs! LOL!

Aghh.. Jealous lol! That is the color I want, although it looks quite a bit lighter than on the MadVapes website. Anyway, please post a pic of it assembled on the girly thread when you get a chance!

Okay, will try to do that this weekend maybe. But I mainly just have the bigger Vivi Nova's and I don't want to unwrap the new clearo that came with it since I'm giving it away. I'm not sure I have anything else to use on it that's pretty for the girly thread. I will look around and see what I have. LOL.
So, you won the epipe and now someone else us going to get it? Or us it just the clearo? Anyway, anything will be OK, since the pipe itself is pretty - AND pink! Lol.

It was donated along with the batts and clearo as a free raffle prize giveaway for the South Florida Vapers vape meet this month by Hoosier Ecig Supply. Brent from Hoosier has donated a lot to our group. He's a great guy. So the epipe is not mine. Lol. I just get to look at it a lot. Lol.

Oh... Sad lol... Happy for whoever is going to win it though :).

Alright, I just picked myself up the mini 18350 version, and all in all I like it. I have a couple things to say about it though, so settle in ladies and gents. First of all, the weight and feel of the thing in the hand really is quite delightful. It just fits, and I find myself gesturing expansively with it. It's fun to point at things with it, don't ask why, but it is. And bonus, mine came with a fully charged battery in it! Not sure if it was supposed to or not, but I won't complain. By the way, about the batteries. It came with a Trustfire 18350, and those are the kind that fit. All my AW IMRs are just a peench too short; they'll work, but if I jiggle the thing at all the battery loses and regains connection. Not cool. But that's an easy fix. I got the copperwood finish, going for a more traditional tobacco pipe look, and while it does look nice, it does not look like wood really at all. No biggie, but if you're thinking of this thing, I'd recommend going for color. The finish is very pearlescent, giving an almost translucent look to it. Might mimic wood better if I rubbed it down with a very fine grit sand paper, but again, this is all aesthetics. As for build quality, well, it leaves quite a bit to be desired. If this was a thirty dollar mod I'd be totally happy, this would be 5 stars. But, it's a 55 dollar mod, and considering it probably cost them about 10 dollars in material and labor to make, they could have spent some more time. Where the "shank" and "bowl" of the pipe meet, I'm not sure if it is two separate pieces or if it was just the way it was machined, but there is a noticeable seam and I can't help thinking I made it wiggle once. Could just be my imagination, but I'm definitely concerned about fragility. Second, glue is noticeable on the top fake ash LED cover. They couldn't clean that up a little better? Again, not a huge deal, but considering the price a little more finish would be nice. Also, the battery cover has kind of a weak spring in it, and the thread piece it screws onto is literally just glued into the bottom of the pipe. On mine, it isn't glued level so my battery lid is slightly cockeyed. Again, not a huge deal (I could probably pry it loose and set it straight myself no problem) but considering the price they're charging, they really could have taken a little extra time to shine out those details. And the 510 connection isn't perfectly straight either. It's really close enough that I shouldn't complain, but if you're going for a long stem style you may want to pry loose and reseat that connector so your pipe isn't wonky. Last point, I can't tell for sure, but I'm pretty sure the auto switch is actually just behind the connection as opposed to being in the bowl with the LED (there's a little hole there for airflow) so you'll want to be extra careful about juice getting in there, but that's a general precaution on all autos. And obviously, since it's auto, it will need an atty that uses central air path. So, in closing, do I like this thing? Yes, quite a bit. Am I a disappointed in the workmanship quality? You bet. Is that gonna stop me? Not at all. Basically, if you've got the cash to spare and enjoy the idea of a pseudo pipe mod that's automatic, go for it. The fun colors give it a modernistic feel, so you can be sure any gear you throw on this puppy will look good, but if you're going for the wood aesthetic it's a bit of a swing and miss. So, you want something cheap and pipe-ish and don't mind spending ~$60, this is a great get, but be prepared for the cheapish quality. If you want something a little more genuine, or a little more deserving of the price tag, you might wanna keep looking. It seems like e-pipes are kind of blowing up right now, with no real new production entries since the 601 and now all of a sudden there are all kinds of them popping up. So that's kind of exciting, because let's face it; pipes are styling. But in short, if you don't mind overpaying by about double, this guy is great. If not, well, it's looking like some other options will be available soonish.

^^thanks for the review.
regarding your 18350 AW IMR being a tiny bit short, try an 18350 EFest IMR. they are a mm or two taller than an AW IMR. i noticed this yesterday when trying to fit the efest in my batt case tha ti normally keep AWs in. the efest wouldnt fit in the 18350 spot. it was just a mm or two too big. efest might be just the right height you need for the epipe.

Quite frankly, the spring in the cap is kinda crap. I'll definitely be replacing it, and I could either get different springs for different battery lengths, or what I'd really rather do is just measure and cut a solid post, do away with the spring entirely. The shining point of the low quality workmanship is that unless the acrylic body itself shatters, if any of the internals break or come loose it should be a relatively simple matter to re-wire, re-solder, and re-glue all the stuff back in there. Seriously, the form function is amazing though, I REALLY like how this feels in hand. If someone was to pump something like this out in anodized aluminum I'd pay $150 for it. And if they did make the body out of metal it would seem to me to be a simple matter of replacing the LED ash cover with a mechanical switch for an unregulated true mechanical mod. As it is, they should probably throw a regulator in the shank, there's a lot of empty space in there, regulate it to 3.7 or 4. I don't personally mind unregulated on an 18350, seems like the sweet spot lasts most of the discharge for me anyways, but it would probably be a good idea for them to consider. But anyways, if anyone with a machine shop is paying attention, I'd pay lots of money for the same body style in metal!

Has anyone tried putting a kick in their Diablo e-Pipe yet? Since it is not a regulated device, I thought this would be a good idea. However, OKC Vapes says it will not work because The kick wouldn't be grounded. Does this make any sense? Why can I stick it in a mechanical tube mod but not this mechanical mod?

the kick needs to touch metal on the inside of the mod for it to work. if the inside of the battery chamber isnt made from metal, it wont work. some users will sand a portion of the inside of the battery chamber to reveal metal, but this pipe might not have metal in such an easy to access place. also, the Kick is approx 15mm tall and the battery chamber would need to be large enough for it to fit. i think 18350 sized batts are the smallest kickable batts, so the chamber would have to be 18500 sized for everything to fit.
