All up in your grill..
Day of the dead (2008) was wanting... I think they tried to the Romero touch but missed (super powered zombies? and a vegetarian zombie?) But its possible the Romero might be doing a day of the dead in 2013
Are you sure we are discussing the same film? I don't remember either. Romero was an executive producer on that one btw.

I'll have to look into The Walking Dead. AMC has been nailing shows lately. Check out Dead Set (BBC) if you have any friends in the UK. It's Big Brother during a zombie outbreak... Literally! Don't expect Shaun OTD, it's a real drama with uncensored violence (thank you BBC!). Five episodes running about an 45 mins each so plenty of diversion factor.

I did like Diary OTD but it just didn't have the same feel as his older Z flicks. It does seem to be a major influence on that book Feed I mentioned in the other thread though so I have to be grateful for that at least!

I watched this flick yesterday and was pleasantly suprised. Very tounge in cheek docu-drama about the coming zombie apocolypse. Very well executed. Liked it alot!

Darn, I missed it! Any chance at gathering new intel on the zombies I need to watch. Maybe when it re-runs.

Ah ,ha! Update: Netflix!!!

I've not watched survival yet... bought it right before my xbox went zombie (rrod)... does anyone still own a regular dvd player?

Well the good news is you can get an xbox arcade for like $150 now and some places are even throwing in a gift card with it. If you just want a dvd player, you can pick one up for ~20-30 bucks now!

I have The Walking Dead comic in digital form. I really enjoy it and am glad they are making a TV series out of it.
