Congratulations! I have been vaping for over 2 years now and have tried a little of everything and my favorite PV is my ciggy look-a-like 306-style. I love it and it works best for me. Good luck and welcome to ECF, you are in the best place to learn everything e-cig you need to know!

He's made it pretty clear that he's ordered from a supplier and he's happy about it. Right now he has what he needs.

More power to him. I just wish I'd gotten to him sooner because I could have saved him a small fortune. Even now if he ends up taking my advice in the long run he will save a lot of money. Greensmoke is incredibly expensive. The pro kit is pretty cool that it comes with a passthrough and 2 batteries but my gods the price!

What a great video introduction! I love your exuberance. I had much the same experience as you. I started using a disposable Blu cig and knew immediately that I could finally stop smoking. I loved those things. I researched a bit and also had a lot of sideline experience from other vapers at work who have all moved on through the Joye and up to other mods. I still decided to go with a mini automatic and couldn't be happier. It's been 3 weeks since I've had a cigarette. I'm already ordering cartomizers that have less nicotine in them. My goal is to get down to 0 nic and then I will decide whether to break the physical habit of vaping, as well. Best of luck to you. I look forward to seeing your next video diary.

ShogaNinja is just trying to help. We have been there too. I wish I had come here first and heard some suggestions as to save money while getting into it. Dean is well on the way. He will do it.

Edit: Heck, ShogaNinja even took a lot of time to post a chronicle of what was personally encountered when trying to get into vaping. Pretty good.

I think its important to let the person make their own choice and not keep pushing something on them if they don't want it. Nuff said.

Thanks. I think that's the first time anyone acknowledged my sacrifice. I appreciate that more than you know.

Nice job with that. One thing to keep in the back of the mind though, not everyone is here to get into the vaping scene full time. Some are just looking at it to quit vape/smoke completely.

Me? I enjoy vaping and have turned it into a hobby. :2cool:

TB - we're all helping. If some-one smokes 10 a day and has ordered what they want then their fine. There's more to this but this isn't the place to discuss it.

Nobody's pushing anything on anyone. Knowledge is power. One can never have too much knowledge. You keep bringing up 10 smokes a day like that's a weak number so it requires a smaller sized PV. I used to smoke a half a pack a day too, of full flavor 100's. I vape 24mg juice now, pretty much all day straight chain vaping. Having an ego twist lets you dial DOWN as well up, to 3.2v which is a pretty light vape as far as heat goes. I for one would have appreciated reading all the information on my blogs instead of doing months of research when I first started.

It says that very thing in the Vaper's Handbook: "Nothing is better than being free of all addictions. A nonsmoker/nonvaper is the healthiest you can be. One should eventually endeavor to wean themselves off of nicotine by decreasing their ejuice to 0mg of nicotine and quit when the physical dependence no longer exists."

I have made several attempts to put this concept into people's heads and what I got for it was a slew of personal attacks by stubborn naysayers, CASAA activists, moderators, ultra members, etc. etc. They sent the big guns and they came in force to disrupt my thread. Some people just can't accept the statement that I quoted above. Too many people on this board are content to be addicts as if that is a healthy thing to be; it never is. All things in moderation, I say.

Nice job putting that together. They take a bit of work to do, but very helpful to see a regular Joe vs a paid commercial. thanks!

no problem, i enjoy doing youtube gaming etc, and was very excited to do that video also and if i help just 1 person from it, than i have done my work for the day and that 1 person will help another 2 people etc :)

I have a question, i have ordered 24mg carts for my first starter kit with greensmokes and was wondering is the mg level what gives u the hit on the throat, so say will the 24mg be harsher on my throat than say a 16mg? or is there something else which determines this?

I love your enthusiasm! Welcome to ECF and the world of vaping. The day will come when you light up a cigarette and gag, it happened to me 6 months ago.

Nicotine and ratio of PG will give you TH (throat hit). A higher VG ratio will give out more vapor and less flavor. There are also additives that give TH.

I'm not a TH fan, but I love lots of vapor so I order my juices with higher VG.

Some people have reactions (allergies?) to PG so be aware how your body reacts.

Happy vaping!

wow i been looking at this ego c twist a little more, they look very fun and cool, my only worry is only after have quit since thursday i wont get the cigaretter feeling, as its more of a claronet looking device than a cigarette, what you guys feel about this, is it best to start off with a cigarette look a like so i get the closest psycological feeling for now aswell as the physical feeling.

Yeah, give it a little time. I was looking for the 'feel' effect at first myself. I was smoking cigars just before quitting, and I even picked up one of those carto cigars with a crepe paper covering, which at the time, was as close to what I was doing as possible. The cigar ended up being a $20 piece of crap though because the cartos were proprietary, and I then quickly went for things that would satisfy my craving for TH and vapor rather than feel. That apparently worked pretty well for me. Only you know what will work for you right now. The Twist is a very good first device when the time comes.

Yeh i been looking at that Twist thing i mentioned earlier, another questionthough, say i get 2 different flavours, and i try one and i wanna try the other one, do i have to vape the first lot first or is there a way to put another flavour and try it, while theres still some in there originally if you get me.
