All you can do is put it on the classies and see. I will say when it comes to tube mods I do think less folks are using them for a variety of reasons. No one is going to pay MSRP I don't think but hey it's Sunday put it up there for slightly more than it would cost for returning/restocking fee etc. and if no one jumps, talk to Crème de Vape about it, I'm sure they will be obliging. Etc.

Either way, yes you are going to mayhap lose some money on this deal but perhaps slightly less (and less hassle) if someone wants to buy it and you have one more desirable than many (tube mods) because it will take a variety of tanks and a larger battery etc.

I have some Procyons and I have Zenith on one and the overhang is I believe 0.5 mm. Maybe 1 mm I can't remember. I like it. It's kind of like a lighthouse in some minor fashion. So aesthetically I don't have issues but the husband built me a mod stand as he was sick of like, watching me tip them over, so that makes it less of a problem *for me* but I'm unusually clumsy so....

It's already up. If I can't sell it oh well, I'll just keep it then. I'm not sure why box mods are so popular, I started out with tube style devices and can't get away from them. Not fond of box mods at all. I spoke with CDV, they said it would cost me a fortune to mail it back to them, plus I would get a restocking fee since I used it. I messed up big time with this, I should have followed my gut instinct on this from the beginning.

@Dayvidpriddy, stick with it. You've been using a P3 for so long I think that you will have issues with changing to anything at the moment.

Actually, my last device from ProVape was a stealth black Procyon. I had sold all my ProVape gear because I was having cash problems back then. If I had known they were going to close up shop, that Procyon would still be here today! BAD PROVAPE!:evil:

Question about the features that are only available on the device if you have expert mode enabled (heater protection & power boost). If I have expert mode OFF/DISABLED, I'm assuming the heater protection and power boost features are also disabled, correct? Meaning it's as if they don't even exist on the device.

Are you using Power or TC @Dayvidpriddy?

And here's some information from the manual.

- Standard: Vaping with a constant power setting. The selected power is applied to the coil, unless the coil’s resistance affords a different power setting.

- Temperature: The power applied to the coil is calculated by a temperature controller, which keeps the Control: coil’s temperature constant. Important to note: Set the right temperature coefficient and perform a calibration at room temp.

- Heater: The power to the coil is repetively interrupted to enable a liquid flow und to limit the Proection: temperature.

- Power Boost: The coil is quickly heated up initially. Moreover an repetitive boost can be selected. Note to not to set the power limit to a value too low and use lower normal power setting.

- Bypass: The mod behaves like a mechanical mod, i.e. the battery voltage is directly applied to the coil, with the restriction, that the maximum current is limited to 20A. Note that the vape now depends on the charging level of the battery.

I don't think Provape did anything wrong other than to not jump on the DL train, that and produce a vape so excellent and really hard to kill, well, you can only buy so many until you find out they are leaving.

I do like box mods for their stability and also sometimes their aesthetics but like, tube mods are lovely I guess the mech market still has the corner on them.

But, I hope someone buys your Dicodes honestly. That is a shame although I can't quite see how having an extra, unused Dicodes sitting in its box and waiting to be used, even if it is not like, your very favorite thing, in place for the end of times and days, so well, either way, don't price it unreasonably low.

There are also some other places you can sell with a larger audience at least for buying vape mods? Isn't there one called vape trader or something? Also reddit, I mean you don't have to love them, you just have to sell that sucker, etc.

You can go into the menu and disable the whole thing, in which case the up/down buttons immediately adjust power.

The only display info you get is battery, resistance, and power.
On a one button mod?

I have expert mode turned OFF on the device, so those options are not available to physically see or adjust.
Well from what I understand then @Dayvidpriddy, the advanced options aren't really that important to normal power/wattage vaping use.

So heater/power boost is for TC only then? I guess that's what I'm trying to confirm. If I don't need it in power mode, I'd rather keep expert mode off. I don't need to be confused anymore than I already am lol

I don't know about other places to sell online besides here. I know nothing about Reddit or how to use their EXTREMELY CONFUSING 'forums'. I use to sell things in Facebook groups but that's not allowed anymore either lol

Whelp I didn't know much about it either other than it appears to like, be mostly a surcharge for running an add for 1% of the listing price and I don't know much about like uh, how secure and useful it is. It might be really good or really awful. However, they do "consign" or just buy relevant items and like, maybe they would do that since your dicodes is brand new pretty much or whatnot or how fair the prices would be (rather unfair, probably.) So IDK if it's really all that useful I only know about it because it popped up now and again.

I will say, much like shoes, even Dansco shoes that hold their value if they have been used AT ALL and well let me see I don't usually buy used shoes (I mean, I value my feet perhaps second only to my lungs, IDK maybe eyes matter too but yeah, body parts) Danscos are the Dicodes of nursing clogs and I used to wear them and bought a bunch but found I was having issues with my feet and it might have been my danscos and like well, not much to be done but I have seen some pretty broke down Danscos where I would RUN from them and their prices but also I would probably underprice my shoes on the site, really, because well, IDK used shoes creep me out.

A lot of that analogy did not make sense. But, I have seen some high end mods on there for relatively high prices, whether they sell or not and how much for I got no clue.
