I have 2 (I believe 900 perhaps 1000 mAh) c twists that I bought from a store in town. Neither have CE on the bottom. One just started shorting out after about a week. Do genuine Ego's always have the CE on the bottom?
I think you been had, I have never heard of any of them doing that. I hope he isnt charging you full price.Greetings; A local vape store that I trust sells what it calls 'debranded' batteries that are genuine (same mfc and same model) -- these are Vision Spinners, but it's not inconceivable that eGo does the same thing.
Have you contacted the seller to find out? If you're going to get a replacement, it'll pretty much have to come from the seller, forget contacting Joyetech in my experience.

Sounds like you have gotten knock offs, Joyetech Ego style are pretty well made. Anymore Ego refers to the battery style, so unless they represented it as a Joyetech, probably not much you can do if they don't stand behind it, other than shop elsewhere.

I buy my Twists from MyVaporStore, and those have the "MVS" logo on the bottom, but I know that they are genuine Joyetech because MVS is an authorized Joyetech retailer.

I agree with this if they didnt specifically say "genuine joyetech" ego's they are just ego style.
dealers have to adhere to a set of rules to be authorized joyetech dealers many who do not want to follow those conditions buy the copies.
I totaly agree with your point, but this isnt sears this is joyetech. No ones been had. Easy enough to go directly to the manufacturer/ factory and buy the exact same product without the brand name- cutting out the middleman and I looked into this when I considered opening a shop. When I was a student I worked for one of the largest paint manufacturers in N. America. You'd be surprised at how many lower priced paints came from the exact same vat that was also filling premium high priced paints. Same when Michelin tires were popular in the 80's- they were selling the exact same tire to Sears and could be purchased at a much lower price.

as strict as they are with price fixing and even pulling peoples authorization for selling below the set prices, i really have a hard time believing they would say "oh but its ok if you sell our unbranded stuff for half price"
