Made my first battery purchase, so many battery choices! I decided on 2 efest 18350 800mah imr and 2 mnke 18650 1500mah imr. Got 'em in pairs as I have read here on the forum its wise to have married batteries if possible. IMG_20140112_090501.jpg
I marked them with the date of their first charge (in my possession) and with an a & b in case one holds a charge better, gets hotter etc. (ocd I guess). Should I have used a sharpie for this? I picked middle of the road, not the most expensive or the cheapest. I also picked what the forum says could be used in either mechanical or pcb controlled devices. They say the orange ones are good for the mechanical I am waiting for (a cheap m16 or v2...I think, need to check the store site as its been a while HKP...go figure:p). I don't want to spend a lot up front just in case I find I like my variables better. Opinions...? Criticisms...? Between my wife and myself I bet we've dropped almost 3 bills on vaping in Dec.! I LOVE VAPE MAIL! Surprise vape mail is even better...:vapor:

Doesn't hurt to mark the date of purchase on the battery for down the road to help you remember how long you've used it. However, you don't need to mark batteries as pairs unless you are stacking batteries.

The Efest and MNKE IMR batteries you purchased qualify as high quality, name-brand batteries. Both are safe-chemistry and high-drain batteries applicable for both mechanical and regulated mods. Should you ever do sub-ohm coil builds, only the MNKE will have enough amps to do sub-ohm; the Efest 18350 should only be used for 1.0 ohm coil builds or higher.

Wow! Every now and then even a late bird gets a worm. Thanks for making me feel better about the purchase...it's so hard to pull the trigger sometimes when you read about the misfortune of others as far as vape supplies and batteries, juice etc.
I have been with my itaste's so long and ego's before that I was really twisting myself over this...
I can't say enough how much ecf has helped me enjoy the vape! I know its not much money, all in all, but
