Did I get the Right VG at walmart?

It was the only one by Humco i saw. It simply said Glycerin on it. Its a pink and blue bottle. 99.5% Glycerin Anhydrous. I'm wondering what the .5 ingredient is.

I don't know much of anything about such things but if it doesn't say "USP" or "food grade" on it, I would be awfully leery(as in wouldn't) about vaping it...this question might be better asked in the DIY liquids section.........

Humco makes most of the VG in the US. As long as it has the USP seal on it, you're GTG. It's labeled 'Skin Protectant'.

The .5% is water.

Yes - Humco, when asked, said theirs is 100% vegetable glycerin and some people on the forum have used it in DIY juice making. And it was necessary to ask then because USP does not mean all-vegetable, just certified pure.

Lot's of folks have used that with no reported ill effects. Although it doesn't say that it's vegetable glycerin, it probably is because it's more expensive to get animal glycerin to that level of purity than if they start with vg. That 99.5 means usp grade and it should say that somewhere on the bottle.

Just for clarity, I added a few drops of water 2-4 to the VG to help it be a little smoother on the atty. I don't think it's going to be an issue but just figured I should ask if it matters?

You should use distilled water which should not leave mineral deposits. It's at the grocery store near the spring water.

the humco is fine to use. have been using it now for 2 years with no ill side affects..
there are tons of threads on this subject here on the forum.
