Glycerin Anhrdrous 99.5% (right stuff?)

Humco brand Glycerin , has USP on label.

Active Ingredient is
Glycerin Anhydrous 99.5

Purpose says:
"Skin Protectant"

Is this the right stuff?

Bought it at Walmart.

Also got a gallon of PG at Tractor Supply, USP, 100%.

I looked up the word Anhydrous , it means "without water"

On the bottle it says natural sweetner
USP Grade PUre Vegetable Glycerin.

the term anhyrous should not worry you, like you said it just means without water, meaning the glycerine is relatively more pure and not cut with water. I've used that wal-mart brand with no problems- I have however have grown a third leg. ha I'm pretty sure it's completely safe.

I have been using both of these exact products for a few months now with no problems. I had originally bought the Michael's glycerin but found it too thin. I tend to like thick so the Humco is perfect for that. Now I see why it's thicker...very little water!
