Had a really strong mostly PG juice in my REO VV Grand last, cleaned it out and started a new juice and I can still taste the coffee! Ruining my HHV Dragon's Fire. I even used a brand new 6ml bottle. It's a shame, really. Any tips for getting the flavor creep out of the juice tube?

Make sure you remove the o-ring from the cap and clean it. Flush the tubing with PGA or alcohol, up through the connector. You can also put PGA into the bottle, turn it upside down and squeeze it through and out the connector. You can leave it sit with PGA in the tubing overnight.

See this thread for more suggestions: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/421878-still-getting-taste-my-last-juice-when-changing-flavors-reo-mod.html
Hope this helps!

I know one should remove the oring but I never do. They end up coming out on their own due to the corrosiveness of my Lava juice over time. I would take them out if it weren't for the fact those lil' b@stards are a big pain to get back in for me with my arthritis. Yeah its a simple little task for most but I usually replace the whole tube which is easier and I have tried all the little tricks to get them back in. Im out of new tubes so my Tesla is in Maine for a tuneup and a replacement oring.

I have a sample of hazelnut & it has a very strong flavor too. I have never ran it through my Reos, just dripping. But I know what you mean, no matter how much juice I run through the atty the taste is still there. None of the other juices I have do this. Only way I can get the flavor out is in the ultrasonic cleaner with a 75/25 distilled water & isopropyl mix.

I soaked it in everclear overnight and it still reeks like coffee. It will be a cold day before I do that again!

If you purchased a new tube and cap assembly then you can save the "coffee" one for your strong flavors. Dedicating a assembly and bottle to each strong flavor would limit the cleaning of any remaining flavor from the rest of the REO.

I have never had a problem with my flavors. I make all of mine and they go well together. A little taste of the previous juice just adds a depth to the current flavor.

I have stayed away from the cinnamon and any others that might hang around and be annoying.

I guess I didn't realize that tube screws in. Is that right? I guess I'll need to get the repair kit from Rob.

I was thinking it was just pushed onto the metal connector inside. Glad I didn't yank it too hard and hurt it. Did that sound bad? :D

Robert puts a bit of super glue on the tubing when he slides it gently on the metal part. You don't have to apply the glue. It does not screw on. They do stay on well without the glue.

You just need tube/cap and maybe bottles.

And yes, you did sound bad!
