What do you guys think of this rba? Is it any good? At that price, is it SS tank? I'm done with all the shenanigans with PC and Acrylic (horrible choice of material for anything acidic)...

But I'm also a bit weary of metal tanks, because of corrosion... Anyone who has ever owned a SS pitcher for Ice Tea will know what I'm talking about...

???

Take a look at the ss version of the Atty from Fasttech. More money, but looks like a better design. Note that there's a couple different versions of the Atty. Make sure you're looking at the ss version with glass tank.
Do you mean the 15.99$ I-Atty clone? I have one, there's something funky in the center post which results in it never working quite right... I haven't taken the time to futz with it yet, other attys without such problems are occupying my time, but as of now it stands barely used, and barely workable.

Multimeter between ground and positive on the 510 had massive fluctuations on ohmage, while a measure of positive top post to end of coil showed a steady whatever-I-had-it-coiled-to.

Good to know and I'll quit mentioning it. It's getting some good reviews though, so hopefully you can get yours sorted fairly easy.

Cheap yes, effective... errrrr not really. They are a royal pain to build.

While I don't have the specific model FastTech offers, I do have a very similar one sourced from a US vendor which is made of stainless steel. Other than the materials used they appear to be identical.

It was dead simple to build and it's dead simple to maintain. I highly recommend it.

Now, this being my one and only genesis style atomizer I have no frame of reference, but I just don't see how it could be any less of a royal pain to build.
