I've stated this here before:

I didn't know there was such a thing as 'vaping.' I went through 2 rounds of BLUCIGS over the years and neither was successful in helping me quit smoking. It was a happy accident last November that a vape shop opened next to my hair place. I went in out of interest, bought a couple of eGo sticks and a few T3Ss and haven't smoked since. This, after 30 years of smoking.

Yes, vaping changed my life.

36 year,2 cartons a week smoker. Quit first day I started using a Ego with a 1.5 LR atty and 2.4% Nic. Five years later I am on 0% Nic and using a Evod(still using a ego battery) I have absolutly no desire for a cigarette even if I forget my ecig.

People ask me why I still vape,I tell them it is because I enjoy it. (I guess it baffles them since they seem to think nicotine is the main reason people smoke,it is also the habit and enjoyment of the actions)

I smoked for 4 years (haven't bought a pack in almost 2 months) but Ive had my Kanger Evod for about 4 months now. Finally got some new juice about 2 months ago and just decided to quit. Ive had maybe 4 or 5 cigarettes since i purchased my new juice. Spent that extra money on a vv ego and a few mini pro tank 3's. So glad I was able to put down that nasty habit!

i'm coming up on my 1 year vaping anniversary next week. was a smoker for twenty years. tried everything to quit; cold-turkey, patches, gums, and Wellbutrin. on wellbutrin i managed to cut my smoking in half but it wasn't til i ordered my cigalike starter kit last summer that i was able to totally quit smoking. i was expecting vaping to be more of a supplement for smoking while at work but i haven't had a ciggie since the day i started vaping. so yeah, it's definitely is responsible for me quitting smoking.

Yep...I actually quit "cold turkey" over 18 months ago with no vaping.

I stayed smoke free for just over a year......

But then came the dreaded family reunion a while back...7 days where 4 out of every 5 people smoked...........and I fell off the wagon.

After less than 30 days smoking again, the hubby started getting peeved about the smoke smell in the "new" house, and I was struggling with "cold turkey" this time...so I did some research, found vaping and haven't looked back.

Bought a ecig starter and juice on the 21st of May, on the 27th of May had my last cigarette. Been a little over three weeks now since I had an analog.

I didn't plan on quitting, it just happened and it's amazing!

I'm telling everyone I know about my experience. It wasn't all a piece of cake but it wasn't horrible either and I love vaping!

I hope it helps my mom and husband quit too!

Support your friends and family if they start vaping.

I did not plan to quit but it jut went that way

I went at it similarly- none of this picking a day to commit to quit, removing all my ashtrays from the house, making a written plan of what I'd do with all my saved money or any of the other psyche-up/psyche-out preparations which seem to be the cornerstones of conventional cessation advice (wisdom?).

Did I want to quit?
Sure. "Some day."

Did I think it would happen so easily or quickly (5 days from 2+ decks of Newports/day to zero)?
No way, no how.
