DID with wick.

Has anyone tried using wick instead of the SS mesh on the DID?

Some people actually use cotton wicks or other alternatives in similar attys (genesis style) so im sure it wouldnt be a problem with the DID

I would be grateful if someone posts a TUT. I tried it once but experienced some wicking problems. It has burnt taste everytime I vape.

what wick you where using ? also im not sure but i know the DID have a big wick hole, does it also have extra hole to help wicking ? if not maybe you cover the whole wick hole and that why its not wicking properly also because you are not using mesh its possible you have the coils very tight on the wick and it shokes so prevents the a proper wicking.

btw if these is your first rebuildable you might want to burn the wire first with a lighter couple of times till it glows to eliminate the bad taste it have at first, if your using fiber wick you can also burn it first.

Im using some 3mm silica wick, will try those suggestions and see how it comes out.

I used two 2mm wicks and wound a 5 wrap coil. It worked but I still liked the ss wick more.
