Hi,
My son gave me a box mod and I tried it and for some unknown reason I thought I looked like a fool walking around with it. However I liked the taste of the juice and I seemed to give the same satisfaction that the analogs gave me. I quit a few days later after smoking for 40 years. That was two years ago. I have never felt better.

I had smoked for almost 30 years and im only 43 and i would have a few cigs during the 1st week then never touched another. Recently while on vacation my daughter talked me into trying an analog and i found it disgusting, so now hopefully she will start using the one i got her, as she sees now im truly a non smoker

Was told last December after an unsuccessful surgery to remove a blockage in my left leg to quit smoking or lose my leg. I had smoked 2 packs a day for 40+ years and never really considered quitting until that moment. Over the last year I have gone through the patches, gum, pills, hypnosis, etc. trying to quit smoking to no avail. Best I did was 3 weeks taking some pills they gave me to take. I ordered a starter kit from V2 and tried smoking them for a month and was able to cut down to half a pack a day last September. Last October my son in law introduced me to a Triton tank and battery from Halo and explained I could get any flavor of juice I wanted to put in the tank at a nicotine level that would stop any craving to smoke my (just learned this) analogs. So I order a bunch of different sample packs of different juices from different places. I received one called tobacco hazelnut on the 18th of November and haven't touch anything else since. Even though my wife still smokes I am not bothered or tempted to pick up an analog.

The moral to this long story is that everyone is different. Just need to find something you like vaping more than smoking and from my experience it gets pretty easy from their.

OlderNDirt,

Your story really touched me. I am almost 61 and I smoked since I was 19. I think I am on the road to smoke-freedom like you. I also enjoy vaping ... I only started about a week ago. Thanks for posting your story.

It's like being let out of Smokers' Jail! :D

It took me 1 1/2 weeks after I started vaping to quit cigarettes completely. I cut down to 2-3 a day the first couple of days and then down to one. My last one almost made me vomit. That was almost 3 years ago.

Now the only time I think about cigarettes and smoking is when I log into this forum, otherwise they're totally out of my mind.
