Did you throw out all of your analogs when you started vaping?

Nope. I still have the (unopened) last pack from the last carton I bought weeks ago. I used to loooove that first smoke of the day with my coffee so I keep it in the cabinet by my coffee mugs. I just :D at it when I reach past it for a mug, get my coffee and go :vapor:. Daily reminder that I've made a change for the better.

I quit smoking a long time ago now way before I joined this forum, and I still have my last cigs around in the sock drawer. I cant even imagine how they would taste now being so old but I dont throw them away nor will I give them away. They mine damnit and I will hoard them away just to prove there no issue anymore........ Unless all my equipment where to randomly burn up in a localized fire or something odd like that and thats all that was left......

Im in a wierd....situation.

So ive been vaping for about a week and some change now, but i still have a carton of analogs laying around my house. The wierd thing is since im always near my vape i dont really ever feel the need to reach out and light up a real one.

Whats bothering me is the fact that they are there and I dont want them to go to waste...because they are worth $$$$. Im chinese and really hate wasting stuff that i paid money for. Dont know if its in my blood but i just hate to see them go to waste.

what should i do lol??

you are right, they are worth money, sell them lol, then buy more vape stuff

I'm sure someone's said this already but I would just give it to someone or sell it for cheap. I had some leftover so I gave it to some guy at work.

Well, tobacco is a natural material and will compost just fine to use for garden or house plant food. A friend might want them, and, if you have livestock, 5-6 cigs will deworm a horse or cow. The tobacco in them is also quite pretty as a base in a bowl of decorative glass bits or marbles, or silk plants.

All sorts of uses for the old analogs, just be creative if you can't give them away.

I never knew that!!! Talk about learning something new everyday!!! You mean when I DO quit, I can use my analogs on my horses as a dewormer??! Seriously.. it is WAY cheaper to buy a couple of packs of smokes than 11 tubes of Strongid, or even Quest.. ROFL!!!

SOOO, illitirit, I would gladly take your carton of stinkies off your hands and I could keep my whole herd dewormed for a year. Done.

I have been vaping for almost 4 weeks and no analogs for almost a week and a half. I still have 3 analogs laying around. I said I would not buy anymore after I started vaping and that is what I have done. I went from 1 - 2 packs a day to vaping with slowing down on smoking analogs. I had 2 packs left when I started vaping and gradually slowed down the analogs. I left the 3 so I they would be there. I knew if I used them, I would go and but another pack because I would be scared that I would want another and not have it there. So the 3 left are there for comfort. I still have a craving no and then but don't left myself have one.

I had some tobacco left over when I started to vape. I too, like a lot of you guys just fit one in every now & then just to use it up. I quickly realized I had no desire to ever smoke again.
Maybe using the packs in that carton like currency could of worked, you know, like barter/trade kind of deal.
Although hooking up some homeless peeps with them was kinda cool too.

Nope. In fact, a few weeks ago a local Navy Exchange had a sale on swishers, black&milds, and other cheap cigars. Some of them were as low as $0.05 each! I bought about $6 worth, close to 100 cigars. Will I smoke them? Well, probably the grape swishers. The rest I will just give to whom ever I have company with who smokes.

Once I started vaping I had some cigarettes for a while, and sometimes I lit one up, only to smoke 25% of it then kill it. Tastes like the dog's .... these days. My wife took the rest, and finisshed the packet.

If you still have that catron, fun fact. Tobaco leaves are good for plants, and keep insects away.
Break off all the filters, and put the rest in a blender. untill you have a nice fine tobaco dust. Sprinkle this around your garden, and it will keep some insects away that disturbs and eat your plants.

I've been Vaping and smoke free since 3/12/11 and I still have a partial pack. Once I picked up the ecig I never had the desire to smoke again!

I know, so many people have said "throw out the cigarettes!!". They advise getting rid of them so they won't be tempted to go back to habitable smoking.

But, I live with a smoker, and have no desire for a cigarette as long as I can vape. I am not afraid of smoking, and I have had a cigarette on the very few occasions since I started vaping that I was without a PV ( the last was over a year ago), because I know now that I will always choose vaping over smoking.

That's my favorite story about starting to vape. After a few days with an ecig I no longer had the desire to smoke a regular cigarette. I had a half pack in my car for weeks after that and actually still have a half pack in the house. It would be unthinkable to quit smoking by any other method and still have cigarettes within easy reach.

I'm of the mind set that if you can't stop smokeing while looks at a pack of cigs. then you never have really stoped and are just temporarily not smokeing !

So no i did not throw out my cigs , i picked up and smoked one every other day .. then .. once a week .. and still have a half a pack of stale smokes from 6 months ago
