Did you throw out all of your analogs when you started vaping?

Im in a wierd....situation.

So ive been vaping for about a week and some change now, but i still have a carton of analogs laying around my house. The wierd thing is since im always near my vape i dont really ever feel the need to reach out and light up a real one.

Whats bothering me is the fact that they are there and I dont want them to go to waste...because they are worth $$$$. Im chinese and really hate wasting stuff that i paid money for. Dont know if its in my blood but i just hate to see them go to waste.

what should i do lol??

I wouldn't save a carton. I had half a pack left when I started vaping. I made myself have one every so often and one by one they were more and more disgusting. This was to remind myself what I was giving up. Almost Two months later and I still have one analog that I honestly do not want to smoke whatsoever. That worked for me but a carton is a lot to toss I agree but it's better than smoking that carton!

Yeah what i did was, well i smoked rollies for years and i still had tobacco laying around but when im about 1/4 left in my 12.g pack i'll usually go upto the shop and buy some more for the next day.
This certain day though my starter kit came and i was all excited! so when i went upto the shop i noticed they sold E-Liquids! i brought one it was watermelon and didn't bother buying my tobacco and i started vaping from there. Didn't feel the need to touch what was left of my tobacco and the next day i scrunched it up and threw it out!

I can understand why you don't want to throw them, cigs are expensive. Well here in England they are, maybe pass them to a friend or get some satisfaction by quitting and throwing them out :D

The transition was hard for me too. I am Thai/Chinese and I was the same way. Had 2 full packs laying there and I just slowly transitioned from about PAD> half a pack> a couple a day> 0 until they were gone. All the while having my PV handy when I had the urge. It's ok to go back in the beginning but just don't buy anymore and stay strong. Good luck.

I had 1 1/2 packs when I started vaping, smoked them to get through the transition. Then I went back out on the road again for work. When I was unpacking our equipment I found two packs amongst out tools and stuff, I gave them to a homeless couple who were living on the streets of DC.

That's very kind of you!

Well, tobacco is a natural material and will compost just fine to use for garden or house plant food. A friend might want them, and, if you have livestock, 5-6 cigs will deworm a horse or cow. The tobacco in them is also quite pretty as a base in a bowl of decorative glass bits or marbles, or silk plants.

All sorts of uses for the old analogs, just be creative if you can't give them away.

Option one... Find a homeless person and say "here you go sir"
Option two tell people on facebook that its up for grabs to whoever gets to you with a cup of coffe first

Personally i would have given them to a homeless... They dont care about brand or ammount theyre just happy to recieve kindness... (Dont give it to a beggar they make more money than you would think)

I would keep it. Cause you're gonna wanna smoke and when you really badly do want to, give in, and have one, and you will notice it will be chucked out half way, but this will keep happening and you will light up at least a handful of times before you realize its time, Its Time, ITS TIME you call yourself a non smoker...

I threw out my left over tobacco, papers, and lighters 4 days after I bought an Eliquid starter kit. I have not had the urge to buy analogs since.

The only thing that reminds me of smoking is my lighters, i collected Zippo's got a draw full of them but they have other good uses xD

I had two full packs and one pack with one cig left. I gave the two packs to a buddy at work and I keep the one cig as a memento, the first cigarette I didn't smoke. I'm smoke free for 6 weeks now, I still find myself reaching in my pocket for a lighter and then I'm I'm like oh yeah I don't smoke and then vape on my twist with a .... eating grin!

A whole carton, I'd have to try to trade them or something if it was me. I had 5 cigs when I went into the Volcano store, sat at the bar and tasted a bunch of juices and got a starter kit.i Didn't feel the need to smoke the cigs, but had them one by one over the next week as a nightcap, last night was the last one. I bought a pack of Winstons( which were my Grandmothers favorites) to keep as a memento. If I can't vape I will use nic gum or lozenges, but will never go back to the cigs as long as vaping is available.
