I figured I had given it plenty of time, 4 hours plus blowing it out for a few minutes every time I walked by it.. I couldn't smell any alcohol left inside so I thought it was good to go.

Popped it on the battery, dripped 3 drops, put a mouthpiece on and hit the button... I got a tiny bit of vapor, with a kind-of alcohol taste, then when I tried again nothing came out.

Is my atty dead?

Can't imagine alcohol frying it. If anything, it would evaporate as soon as you hit the button.

Unless you are using everclear or something (which is so strong it stripped the paint off my atty) there is a lot of water still in vodka or the likes.

Yeah, I'd let it dry more - I usually let mine dry over night before using again.

Also, I have had flooded attys do the same thing. Little to no vapor production. After blowing them out, and doing a dry burn, I usually don't have problems.

I had that happen yesterday, tried blowing til I was dizzy, then put a few drops of plain liquid in the battery end of the atty and blew again and put a drop or two directly on the atty and then tried vaping. More than this can kill the battery. Worked like a charm. I've been reading alot about people letting the attys get to dry and I think this is more of a problem than I realized. I had been letting mine sit for days, thinking I'd killed all of them! Also be sure to check and clean the batteries connection point and make sure nothing is in there so that you don't kill the battery. I hope this helps! Vicki

I gave one of mine in a bath of pga night before last and put it on my pv yesterday. Dripped 4 drops and no vape...hmmm....tried it on another batt, still nothing. Looked down the barrel, was glowing so no problem there. Put on a few more drops and vapor galore, lol! Maybe not enough juice the first time. Also, flooding will give same results, little to no vapor.
