The resistance rating on an atomizer is pretty much proportional to vapor production AND battery life. The lower the resistance of the coil, the more current it will draw and the hotter it will get, both mean more vapor. Taste is relative to the individual. Some juices are better on a 2.5 ohm and others are better on 1.5 or 2.0.

The lower you go in resistance, the more often you charge the battery.

Think of it like kinking a water hose. The tighter you hold the kink, the less water goes through, aka higher resistance. if you loosen the kink, more water can flow through at a high rate, aka low resistance. Pretend the water = current (flow of electrons).

Great analogy. I'll remember that one. cheers!

1 caveat... It's a catch-22 on the 1.5 ohm atty. Great vapor production, greater chance of frying your eGo battery by over-amping it. Some report that their eGo batteries die an early death this way. Others swear by 1.5 ohm atties. May depend on your vaping habits too. The hotter the electronic circuits get inside the battery, the more likely they are to fail. More current = hotter at a fixed voltage.
