asking the difference between a bloog and a provari is like asking a starving etheopian child the difference between drinking skim milk and heavy cream. the bloog's best puff doesn't even come close to the provari's worst at any given time. you might be sitting there vaping away with your bloog battery fresh off the charger, you take a looong drag, and you'll say "Woah! That one was a nice puff! I wish it felt like that every time!" well... with the provari, you can get that puff, (or stronger if you'd like... you WILL like..) every single puff. You use the voltage regulator to tailor the puff to your liking. With the provari, not only are you getting that awesome variable voltage experience that so many cheaper devices can deliver these days, but you get the peace of mind of knowing that the manufacturer will fix your provari for free for 1 year... and if you drop, scratch, dent, or break your provari, you can get it fixed at any given time for a small fee. there is only a couple vaping devices on the market that give you that ability. once you try the provari, within the first hour you'll realize that your probably never going to use your bloog bats again. Its like climbing to the top of the tallest mountain, taking a deep breath, and realizing you've been living in a giant's ..... now u realize it stunk. Its a great device. but any vv device will get you by. the bloog bats are GREAT for out and about, or for when you can't look like a dweeb vaping a big ol mod, but for all other times, the provari is king.

Like i said, I do believe the provari is an excellent device. But technologies and convenience aside, all I really care about is the vaping experience ie throat hit, flavors etc. Since getting the provari, i am still using my bloog batteries at times. Not sure, i have to agree the provari does give me more oomph, but somehow the bloog batteries give me more flavor. Maybe its the juice, donno, still experimenting it.

About 2 years now, started with v4l, then ego, then bloog became my stable. I was looking at some videos on setting up the cobra and thought hey it's not that bad, i can do it!! Then i realize you have to make your own coil. Is that correct? Tried searching for videos how to do so and couldnt find any. Do you know of any links?

Not all will agree with me, but i think he has some great vids for RBA...

Hope this helps you out...

yeahhhhhh idk... my flavors rock on the provari. but with a vv device you have to be resourceful and find the perfect voltage. the provari can put out the same voltage that your bloog puts out. set it to 3.6 volts and try it. It should taste very similar to the boge with the same cartomizer.

The Provari and RBA aren't for everyone... Use what works for you, not what others say works for them, I think it's that simple...

Thanks for the videos, I have watched quite a few of his videos. The only small problem is sometimes I dont fully understand him because of his thick accent hehehe. Anyways I will check em out again.

I have it set at 3.8 now, 3.6 is not warm enough. I also am stuck with one juice (everything else just doesnt taste as good) and that's not helping...sighhhh

That flame machine is terrifying!!!! Is there no one online who sell those wicks oxidized and everything so we dont have to do it ourselves?

It's just a Creme Brulee torch, nothing too scary. If that really bugs you though, there are a few ways to do it without using a torch...

Haha creme brulee torch, love CB, maybe i should get one. So....i take your answer to my question, is no, we must make our own wick? Why wouldnt anyone sell it online, people who are not good at fiddling stuff like myself will sure buy from them.

RBA's are NOT for people that don't like fiddling with stuff! They are temperamental, tedious and more difficult than a two year old! If you aren't comfortable oxidizing wicks, then you really don't need to play with them! I'm sorry, but being honest, they aren't for everyone!

Well said. You really must be into fiddling if you want to mess with RBA stuff! I have seen very few places with premade wick, and even then you'd have to coil it too, so still a lot to do even then.

There is somewhere that sells the wicks preoxidized. I think it was ElectronicStix.Com · Welcome if I remember right? Also, CaughingBad, give those juices that you disliked time. Letting juices "steep" for a week or two is sometimes the most important part of a juice's life. without that steep, one flavor will sit on top, another flavor will be in the middle, another on the bottom... Even when you shake it, they won't mix properly. Some juices, especially really complex flavored juices, they will need a lot of time, and a bit of shaking. Some people like to take the bottle's caps off, take the dripper cap off, and let them sit for a week. (They put the dripper cap back on every other day and give them a good shake) and that will speed up the steeping a bit.

Not sure if it is what people are putting in the juices or not but I do not put much stock in steeping. I am strictly a DIY juice maker and I never need to let mine steep. I never really make any juice with more than 3 flavors though so who knows. I only have to let mine sit overnight and they are good. Next day or the following week does not change the flavor of my juice.
