What have you used before, and what are you looking for in an atomizer?
Do you want a lung-hitting high airflow tank? Or do you want a mouth-to-lung capable tank? Are you building your own coils or would you rather use stock coils?
Right now, the Subtank Mini is one of the highest praised tanks available, and the iStick 50w has enough power to utilize it's full potential. Great for lung hits and big vapor/flavor compared to other tank systems.
For mouth to lung, an aspire Nautilus Mini would do the trick.
If you're building coils and want to drip, a Magma, Tugboat V2, Derringer, Veritas, or Marquis would be good for flavor and decent clouds.
If you're building coils and want a tank, a Lemo Drop, Goblin, Billow, Fogger, or even a Kayfun would work great.
What are you looking for?

Yeah I know, this is great information. I already have my eyes on the one's Fattlestar mentioned. Usually I just buy whatever's the most popular among the crowd. Way too many to choose from in the vaping world.

The goblin and lemo. Is actually based off the kayfun design. Think of them more as customized kayfuns.

None of the items I listed are "better" than the others intrinsically. Each serves a different purpose to suit specific vaping performance needs. As I said, it depends on what you want to do.
Mouth-to-lung is when you you draw vapor into your mouth first and then inhale to your lungs. Lung hitting is when you draw the vapor directly to your lungs. Different airflow capabilities in each of the devices listed will determine how comfortably you can do one or the other.
IMO, it seems like you should be looking at a Subtank Mini. It takes stock coils but also has a rebuildable section for you to make your own coils on. It is user-friendly and super easy with the stock coils, and I think that's going to be the best bang for your buck with the experience you have right now.
If you also want a dripper to play with at home, I would suggest a Magma clone (Infinite version, try vaperoyalty.com to get one). It is one of the easiest RDA's to build on.

Get an authentic, regardless of where you buy from. $10 isn't enough to justify a clone as far as I'm concerned, I start looking at clones when the savings come out to more than half price, but your mileage may vary, this is just an opinion. You should pick up a pack of OCC coils as well if you are purchasing a subtank, just so you have enough extras around if you don't want to rebuild coils. Get authentic coils, also.
How does the Tugboat V2 and Marquis compared to the Magma? Keep hearing good stuff about them too

This is a very very dangerous way to live. Blindly following the crowd can get ya hurt especially in the vape world.
Not everything in life is ready made for everyone. Some things require a little effort to educate yourself in order to proceed safely.
IMHO you would benefit greatly from learning the basics of ohms law and understanding how vaping works.
I promise you'll have a much much better vaping experience.
Regulated devices doesn't blow up like mech does...right? I thought only mech's were dangerous since they're not regulated.

That's why I have a Kick in both my mechs -- I don't need massive power, I mostly vape around 10w, and I like the output to remain the same until it's time to charge the battery. Got very sick of that declining vape when I used an eRoll.

I can't speak for the Marquis but the Tugboat can't touch the Magma for flavor , I'd stick with the Magma .
Absolutely, the Magma is fantastic. If a bit leaky when I get carried away filling the well. 
But I also hear really good things about the Veritas; that's probably what I'll try next.

I have the Veritas as well , it's close to the Magma in flavor , it's definitely more leak resistant , it's also a bit more time consuming to build , some people equate that with harder but rebuilding isn't a race IMO .Absolutely, the Magma is fantastic. The main problem with fasttech is that you will wait FOREVER for it to arrive. I got my magma clone at eciggity.com (they call it the Amgam because it's a clone); it's a Tobeco, which is an excellent manufacturer, and it was just $18.99, and I got it inside a week.
I ordered one teeny little Kick ring from fasttech on Feb 7, it *shipped* on Feb 9... and I STILL don't have it. God only knows where it is.

You say you are a lazy vaper. Nothing wrong with that. I am the same. I have been vaping for a long time so I have both regulated and mechanical devices. But if you want to start with something very easy and works great, try this. ProVari Variable Voltage Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit V2.5 I guarantee you won't regret it. But when you order the kit, bet the Nautilus tank. that way everything is easy. Once you get used to that, you can get more complex stuff like a dripper and mechanical mod.
BTW, a mechanical mod will not blow up in your face. Even if you have a dead short. It might get hot. Even very hot. But it won't go BOOM!!! The only way it will even come close to blowing up is if you have a dead short and you leave it shorted for a long time. A long time being a minute or more. But once you put the device down, the circuit will open and the short will stop. I suppose the button could possibly get stuck and eventually the battery would blow, but I have never seen that happen.

I've had a mod auto fire in a briefcase.
Made a mess, but didn't explode.
However, there is a very real possibility that they can explode.
It CAN happen.
Using IMR batteries helps reduce the risk of violent venting, buy never say never.
