Um.... The metal in your provari was forged in china.... just machined in america.

the fit on my vamo is spectacular with everything I've thrown at it, save for one iclear30 that's either a bad clone (you get what you pay for) or poorly machined. Looks just like my others but the threads are crappy. It does happen.

As for the finish? Got the black one, looks great. threw a j-wrap on it because really, I don't care that much; function over form, for this type of thing, is what I care about. That's not to say craftsmanship doesn't have it's place, for sure!

But if I really wanted craftsmanship, I'd probably get a hand made wood mod.

The tatroe protank is a cap, not a base... you're still threading a chinese-made base onto your provari, and probably chinese assembled and manufactured heads, so that seems like a weird middle ground, wouldn't you be better off buying a 100% american made clearo?

Really?

Parts - Machined right here in Monroe, WA. We use US-made stainless steel bar stock to produce the tubes, top caps, bottom caps, contact pins, etc. Everything is done on our machines locally. No outsourcing

They replace the base of the ProTank-

Tatroe tank bottom cap

With a tank and base, the only made-in-China part of the setup is the coil-head. If anyone made them in America, I'd buy them.

No one makes a US-made clearo that I know of.

Funny hu all the haters have to make up stuff. I guess its hard to find a real reason to not like the best mod there has ever been and ever will be;-)

The lathe and mills that are used to turn the metal... Where did they come from?

After reading this thread, I think I am going to order a Provari next week. I just need to decide what finish, and whether to go for a mini or full size.

US, maybe Germany. Even the Chinese machine shops don't use Chinese made equipment.

.... mostly just regurgitation.

Hairballs happen.

...The problem comes up when things start to get fanatical. "you either own a provari or you don't understand..." and etc.

Please describe in detail what eating an orange is like. I have never eaten an orange and don't understand why people think they are so great when you can buy 5 apples for the cost of 1 orange. If you say you like oranges better, you're justifying why you bought one because apples are just as good.

...I like how my vamo feels. Had it broken when I dropped it down the cliffside, it would have been 30 bucks for a new one. If I did that 4 times a year, my total cost would still be less than a provari, and that's if I couldn't fix it myself.

A have a Vamo. I could buy 6 more Vamos if I wanted them. I don't want them.

Regarding the pulse modulation, I can't find any real reason why this would matter, the frequency at which it pulses.... nor do I hear anything strange when I fire my vamo.

My Vamo does make the rattlesnake sound, but it gets points for that. I pretend it's purring.

But again, these are anecdotes and simple observed comparisons. For the provari to really prove it's place, a million anecdotes don't mean much. There are entire forums dedicated to people who will swear lizard people exist and are from the center of the earth, or that the earth is flat. a HUGE number of people think the USA was behind 9/11.

That doesn't mean these people are right, it means they are loud, and crazy, or simply found a place to congregate.

And again, I don't want to draw a harsh comparison, most provari owners aren't as bad as flat-earthers, or uh.... what do they call themselves, truthers?

There are a lot of who fanatically love the thing though, and are offended that other people would purchase chinese made mods with similar features and function. Me, I find that a little racist and lacking in understanding of how commerce works, but again, I don't want to turn the whole thing into an us vs them.

Rather, I'd like something solid to go on. Some real comparison.... to at least come to when trying to say it's gods greatest gift to electrical vaporization devices.

I had to put an o-ring on my vamo so everything I own would seat good on it. that's a little bit of user maintenance. I had a lot, for body jewelry stuff, and a silicone one popped in there in about 25 seconds.

for my 30 bucks, I couldn't ask for more. When I discovered RMS mode in my vamo (which they should really mention, like, in the package or something) all my complaints were gone. from 4.2v to 3.4, it produces perfectly smooth and 100% even and reliable vapor in variable wattage RMS mode with every device I own.

Is it possible that the provari would offer some improvement? I don't think so, but i have one test-run in a shop with samples to go on.

Is it possible it's more durable? Oh, for sure. But.... if my vamo broke, I could fix it. If I could not, a new one is cheap as balls.

Is it possible the Provari is, in all possible questions and potential uses, better than every other mod? No, jesus, of course not.

You can't account for taste.

You can, however, back up the claims you make, and again, with something more than anecdotes. Anecdotes aren't worth their weight in atmosphere.

Yesterday, I saw a ghost, and it gave me 50 bucks. But... that doesn't mean ghosts exists, or that I have 50 ghost dollars.

Also, wouldn't the force of a 40mph contact break your wrist?

I can't keep up with this, I'm bored.

There might very well be lizard people, I don't care, as long as they pay their taxes and don't shed scales in my yard. Humans were behind 9/11. I don't know if the Earth is flat, I've never gone to the edge to check. Does it matter if the Earth is flat? I can't see it would impact me one way or the other. I'm not offended if you buy a Chinese mod. I love my Bobo and he is from Sigelei (which only sounds Italian). How much do balls cost? Are they the kind with bells inside? How much does atmosphere weigh? Can I find out on Wikipedia? Tell your ghost it owes me money.

P.S. Is a Vamo relevant to a thread comparing a ZMax to a ProVari? Or have you just found a place to congregate and express your dislike for an electronic device? Why do you give a flying fruit bat what other people vape?
