I had that feeling. I have a sigelei ZMax and for an APV in that price range, I've been quite impressed. I haven't tried any of the new ones on the market, so I can't give an opinion on how they compare, but I like the sigelei much more than my Vamo.

sigelei devices are pretty decent, including their Zmax - got a good friend who sells the Sig Z and the only problem they suffer from is wonky screens.

The one think I did notice on the provari, is that the hypertank and G50 with a provari isn't a good combo on their own. If you snug it down you have 0 draw. The base overlaps the top cap, and the tanks have smooth bottom, so no air channels. with the protank, it works great because of the air channels in their base. (also they look good because they match up so well)

Where you being serious?

Signal/Cue to change the battery.

I know what you meant by "signal" but if your PV starts leaking anything besides juice... uhhhh

ETA: just read all the responses to your dilemma .. i hope you get it sorted out..
I have heard of batteries leaking.. but never anything on an actual PV.. i needed clarification to make sure your PV didn't have PV cancer.

I just became a life time member of the Provarinati

I lost my Provari yesterday and searched for it yesterday and today.

I was pulling out of the parking lot at work today (worked late last car there) What do I see....

I pushed the button and it started cooking the juice left over in the carto...

So the Phiniac didn't make it and for that I am sad (please remove from classifieds) but there is not a scratch on the Provari and it GOT RAN OVER.

My only negative about the Provari (other than not being able to afford one(two) being a starving student and the fact I would have to also buy one for my wife at the same time if I wanted to actually get to use one...) is purely a cosmetic issue. I wish they offered a flat top model.

Can you say run on sentence?

Checked out that link. noticed the GG Rev 1 #271. $749.99. And that is the used price!!!! Thought the Provari I just ordered was expensive!(G)..

I guess the market value of something is determined by how much one will pay for a limited production item. If ProVape only made 500 ProVaris/year, I imagine they would sell for significantly more used than they do new, as the new ones would be bought up as soon as they went on sale.

I still don't see it. Yes, I saw the link, just not the value. Maybe I'm just too cheap. RC gear and archery equipment, maybe. But, I'm about to pull the trigger on another Kayfun and thinking, "D_mn. That is just a bunch of money." 749 for a mech? Not even gold and platinum? And to think I've been choking when pricing the Provari, and the Semovar... Maybe it will hold the value. I suffered through a trip to an antique shop with my wife yesterday. To me it just looked like a garage sell with price tags in monopoly money, pesos, or something.

I don't see it, either. It is what it is. I'd pay $500 for a ProVari, though. Not $749.

I guess some collect mechs as a hobby- the rarer, more limited, the higher the cost.

Do you keep the non believers in that cage there Mike?

my REO and Provari have arrived....

Like them both, but have noticed that the REO was really designed for right hand use, and I'm left handed...hmmm.... might have to drop them an e-mail about a left handed option :)

In America, 12% of 20 year olds are left-handed, while only 5% of 50 year olds and less than 1% of people over 80 are.

A couple different ways to look at those stats… Either there have been more lefties born in recent years OR lefties die younger. For your sake my friend I hope it's the former because the latter doesn't bode well for you.

Love the yellow pine 2x4, it is hard to get up north here. When I lived in TX I made my son bunkbeds out of yellow pine, They have aged beautifully over the years.
