Difference between wood & metal springs?

I have ordered one of each on different orders from Rob, but they look identical. I know which came with what order, but I'm not sure it matters. Is there a difference?

I also received a short piece of rigid tubing with my Mini.…what is this for?

And…just a minor annoyance at myself: I ordered a 3' run of wire to build coils, but I've misplaced it and it's driving me crazy. I'm pretty sure I saw it when the order came in, but not positive. I can't remember if it was in a ziplock baggie. **SIGH**

It's a reducer tube for thin liquid.

Spring not too sure, I thought they were different. Someone here will chime in who owns a woodie.

The hole in the one for the metal is for the screw. The hole in the one for the Woods goes over the contact and is soldered. That is what I do know!

Probably the tiny reducer tube. It goes into the tubing on the bottom to reduce the flow of juice. Used for cases of self-feeding or thin juices.

The wire was probably wound around a piece of cardboard. And in a baggie.

The springs for the metal mods are tapped for the screw on the bottom of your mod .
The wood mod springs are not tapped but there is a extra hole that slides over the tab on the on off switch in wood mods

My first thought was "wood springs will burn, metal ones will melt" Hey wait up I need to get my coat too.

There should be a smaller hole to the right of the center hole for a wood mod spring . It looks like you have two mechanical mod springs

Thanks, Rob. Really striking out on getting what I've ordered lately. I'll just keep the two I have and try again next time.
