I'm not sure I understand your question but let me take a stab at it. I might be able to answer better if you tell me where your interest lies so I can tailor a response. The DIY base is Nicotine in a carrier which generally is one of pure PG, 50-50 VG/pg, or pure VG. It is not intended to be vaped straight although some folks do, though generally that's for strengths below 48 mg/ml. I've only heard of one person vaping at that level because most don't have the tolerance for it and it generally ruins the taste.

The DIY base does not come flavored in any way so the flavor you get is the base (PG/VG mix you've chosen) along with the taste of nicotine. The numbers for the premixed eliquid and the nicotine base are measuring exactly the same thing, the number of milligrams in a milliliter of The liquid. This is not the same as the percentage though I've seen vendors make that mistake. Pure nic would be 1000mg/ml. The strongest solution normally sold is 100 mg/ml which is a 10% solution. The 24mg/ml eliquid you buy premixed is roughly a quarter of that or 2.4%.The reason that the % is so much higher in the nic base is that it allows you more flexibility in how you mix it as well as being cheaper to ship and easier to store because it doesn't take up as much space. I generally get 100mg/ml base but I mix it down to 6, 9, 12, or up to 35 mg/ml.

Hopefully I hit what you were asking above. The bolder part is what I think you were trying to learn.

The question I have when say using the e-juice me up calc. In the area where your putting in the flavor. I'm using TFA commercial tobacco the bottles read Ingredients: Natural and artificial flavorings. Purified water and PG. So what number do I plug in for % of PG or VG or do I just check the zero PG/VG box?
