Okay, I am a relatively new vaper. I started out with White Clouds (hate). Then I ordered Luci's, as I knew my friend had had them and they tasted good. Both of these - very little vapor, so I gave them to my friend. Then went to V2 and Green Smoke. Love both, but can't vape straight PG, so had to bump myself down to 5 mg on those. Bought an e Go tank, love, and have some clearomizers for it, which I love. Experimenting with e juices. This is as far as I have gotten. Don't understand all these ohms and why I need more (been watching a lot of You Tube videos). What is the difference? What are mods and what are the pros and cons? I am only a moderate, if that, smoker. While I do love plumes of vapor, I don't need a throat hit or any of that. I am interested mostly in the taste, and the highest I typically vape is 6 mg, at least with the straight PG. I did buy a Blu disposable, which is 24 mg, and do like it a lot, and don't get the bitter taste and tongue ulcers I was getting with 100% PG. I find I do best with a mixture.

Anyway, if someone can clue me in, this would be great! :)

Ohms are a measurement of resistance.. The lower the Ohms, the less resistance there is.

"LR" or Low Resistance attys (and cartos), typically have 1.5-1.9 ohms, while standard attys have 2.2-2.7 ohms.

The lower the resistance, the more power the atty takes from the battery, and the more heat it will produce. A 1.5 ohm atty on your ego, will have roughly the same heat, and power as a standard atty on a 5 volt mod. Some people love LRs, others dont like them, its all a matter of personal preference.

You said you're looking for the best flavor, while TH isnt of much interest to you.. I may suggest getting a couple of LR cartos, or attys, and trying them on your eGo.. See if its something you like.. Generally a LR will give your more vapor, and more TH, but may change the flavor of some juices.

LR attys (and cartos), since they use more power, will run down a battery faster than a regular atty (or carto)

HV (or High Voltage) attys and cartos are higher resistance, and are typically used at the 5-7 volt range.

Hope this helps, and Happy vaping!
