Difference in quality (clone vs original) pls help

I’m kind of a noob in the vaping area and I just bought a clone reload rta and I’m getting a weird not that good flavor with a juice that i love but idk if it’s the build that i did or just que quality of the clone, and answers would be appreciated thanks

uD 24 gauge, 8 wraps, 0.44 ohms, the cotton is cotton bacon with a dual buildup, 40 W and the juice brand it’s hometown hero, flavor is passion fruit sweet tea and it’s 3mg nicotine

Okay...
How is the flavor different between the clone and the original? What are you noticing? Are the builds identical?
Did you wash the clone well to remove manufacturing residue that may affect flavor?
What had you been using up to now? device/mod? Each topper has it's own flavor profile and juices can taste differently across multiple topper types.

Is this your first time building?
What is the diameter of the coils you made?
What device/mod are you using?

Yeah the builds are identical in every aspect and no I didn’t wash it, the mod that I’m currently using is the captain PD270 by ijoy and it’s like my 5th time building my own coils, the flavor that I get it’s like a burnt out flavor but just a hint of it, that one it’s the clone

yup...but sometimes new gear excitement gets the better of me

The lubricating oils used in machine shops is toxic and it tastes nasty.
That's a big coil for 40 watts.

If you like to vape machine oil, you can try to inhale directly from a car's exhaust pipe. Same effect, but you don't have to worry about coil placing and all that other fun distracting stuff.

Btw, sometimes the O-rings in cheap clones are of very low quality and give a very bad taste, especially when using with juices that contain any form of acid or fruit.
