Different flavors lingering in Joye Ego-T atomizer

I currently use a tobacco flavor with menthol. However, I would like to experiment with other flavors. The problem I've had in the past is the flavors seem to linger in the atomizer no matter how well I clean them with Everclear. I use a syringe and push the everclear through the hole in the atomizer, then blow the excess liquid out. I haven't tried soaking the atomizer yet. Any suggestions so I can try more flavors without the previous flavor coming through?

Flavors 'stick' in attys to various degrees but many menthols are especially difficult to remove (if even possible).

Use the menthol (and any other 'stickers') in a dedicated atty.

Sometimes too...you can vape some plain VG for a bit and more of the clingy flavors seems to come out.
An overnight soak might really help.
