Gosh! There are so many
good choices these days. I'll focus on
my favorite cartomizers. [NOTE: IMO,
atomizers only make sense for dripping or when used with
juice feeders.]
My favorite
510-compatible cartomizer is the 2ml-capacity
Smok Tech 1.7 ohm Mega Single Coil, nicknamed the Resurrector by
Crystal Clear Vaping and ReJuvenator by
SmokTek, because it brings new life to the eGo's wimpy 3.2V battery. [IMO, the more famous
dual coil doesn't hit hard enough on that battery and needs at least 3.7V to deliver a good vaping experience. Despite the 3.2 ohms / 2 coils arithmetic and the "1.5 ohm" claim, the dual coil is
not really 1.5 (or even 1.6) ohms.]
Other good 510-compatibles are the 1ml-capacity
Boge 2.0 (e.g., from
MadVapes), 2.5ml-capacity
Echo-e dual coil (from
SmokTek or
Mountain Vapor), same capacity
single coil
Echo-e (from
Cropduster 901,
Cool Vapes,
Mountain Vapor, and
NHaler), ... and, of course, any of the myriad variations of the
Smok Tech Dual Coils available from almost everywhere (and which I do enjoy on my 3.
7V
Riva batteries, e.g., $12 from
Liberty-Flights).
Of the
non-510s (which can be used on the eGo with relevant adapters), my favorites are:
- CigEasy's 2ml-capacity Elite 808 cartomizer, used with an inexpensive 510-to-808/901 adapter (e.g., from Good Prophets). Fantastic vapor and TH. [NOTE: Although I don't like tanks, you might also like the Elite's tankomizers (my name for the Elite "tanks" which really are fillerless cartomizers and don't need special separate atomizers, as do the eGo-T tanks). Phil Busardo reviewed them positively, at least relative to other tanks.]
- The 1ml-capacity LR 801 cartomizers (e.g., from LiteCigUSA, NHaler, and Vapor Junction) and the 3ml-capacity Smok Tech 801 1.7 ohm Mega XL Cartomizer from MadVapes. All of these 801s deliver the TH of the Elite 808 and a flavor approaching that of the Leo. Use on your eGo battery with a 510-to-801 adapter, e.g., from Good Prophets.
