The lower ohms are hotter harder hitting BUT do drain the battery quicker and can fry your smaller batteries like the little 510 ones.

People choose low ohms because they want a harder TH than they can get from higher PG or higher NIC OR because they want a harder hit despite using lower nic and more VG in their juice.

If you like a mild TH, smooth, light vape you likely won't want lower ohms.

I would definitely go with lowest on those tanks though. It looked like 2.5 was the lowest, if you are using a 3.7v battery. This would probably be perfect. If you plan to use a 5 or 6 volt mod, you'll want at least the 3 ohm. That'll hit like a monster on 5 or 6 volt, and will be a light vape on a 3.7. Another words, if you use 3.7 and 5 or 6 volt, 3ohms is the way to go. At least in my opinion.

I was looking at these MAP Tanks -- MAP Tank Mods The lower the Ohms the hotter/bigger the hit, right? Can the same battery be used? Why would one not want the lowest Ohms? Does it just fry the battery quicker?

Thanx

Ohm's Law Calculators
E^2/R = P
3.7V @ 2.5 ohms = 5.5 watts
3.7V @ 2 ohms = 6.8 watts
P = EI
a 180mAh battery @ 3.7 volts = .7 Wh

Thus @ 2.5ohms & 3.7V & .7Wh = .13 h
Thus @ 2.0ohms & 3.7V & .7Wh = .10 h

Easy peasy. You could crunch out how much vapor is produced by 5.5-6.8 watts.

I choose lower ohms (LR) because I wanted warmer, denser vapor. I'm not a huge fan of the "knock you back in your seat" TH. I get slightly more TH, even though I vape 60PG/40VG juice, but it isn't unbearable for me. Rosa is right about battery drain. Lower ohms can drain a battery faster, but the MAP Tanks only go down to 2.4Ohms so you shouldn't see a huge different in battery life.
