I hooked up a Blu tank just for fun once. I imagine any 510 threaded tank can be used as long as its in the 2-3ohm range. 2.4ohm preferred. You will need to purchase the 510 adapter from Halo though. I had to use that also. And it is a very nice adapter.

I do have to say that the Triton tanks at only $6 each are hard to beat.

Thanks Hamburglar, like I said I'm new at this and have questions concerning not only the Halo but I'm in the market for a box mod now too :D
btw how's the Reactor? (I noticed your post on another thread:))
nice looking mod!
it's one that I'm considering along with about 6 or 7 others; its a daunting task but a good learning experience!
I'm holding out until BFriday and/or CMonday in the hopes of getting a good deal(s);)

incidentally, does Kringles Curse rock or what?!!!!!

Hi fellow Halo users,
I've been using the Halo Triton battery(900 mah) and tank for about a month now, and although I'm happy with the tank performance, I'm curious if anyone has tried any other tanks for this battery?
I'm a noob so I'm still learning:)!
I've put an Aspire Nautilus mini on a Triton and also an Aspire ET-S. They both worked fine. As hamburglar stated, you will need the Halo adapter.

Personally, as I love the top-fill Tritons and I am not into sub-ohming. (I figure the Tritons got me off smoking so what else do I need? Besides, ignorance is bliss.) I do use Istick 30 W's because of the longer battery life, I know the ohms, volts and watts, and I prefer vaping at 8.5 to 10 watts which a Triton cannot produce. I got them before Halo came out with their new stuff.

Thanks BLT, I actually have the adapter!
I'm gonna try the Aspire Nautilus and Aspire ET-S both!!
I've seen both of those tanks but wasn't sure if they would work, thanks again!
besides I'm shopping for a box mod and will be able to use them on that:thumbs:
By the way, if you want to use the Triton tanks or the ET-S on a box mod, you will also need an ego to 510 adapter. I don't know if Halo's new mods come with this.

I have not been able to attach a triton tank to the reactor. The adapter I have from Halo does not allow this (not that I could figure out anyway).

Ash, I love the Halo Reactor. I use the Reactor a good part of the day. And I use the Triton when I need to be a little more conservative around people. I've done some price comparison, and I believe the Halo Reactor kit is the best prices kit in the 50-watt class. Its not just the rebranded IStick battery. This tank is absolutely awesome! And yes the tank seems to be a rebranded Starre tank, but good luck finding that tank for the $25 Halo sells it for. You just cant.

And Im talking about regular pricing. If you add a black Friday sale to the normal Reactor pricing, the deal gets even better. Enough that I am considering getting a second kit. You are basically getting a $50 battery, a $30 tank, and a $20 bottle of juice (ultra high uber premium juice...lol), for $69

Hamburglar, I don't have the Reactor, but after watching the YouTube video, it looks like a 510 connection, similar to my Isticks. The adapter from Halo is an 808-something (Halo Triton) to ego. I am fairly sure that if you bought an ego to 510 adapter the Triton tanks will work. At least they do on my Isticks.
Connect the battery to the ego/510 and connect the Halo adapter to the ego/510 other side. The Triton tank should connect easily. It appears that Halo does not furnish the ego/510 adapter, but you can get one from a local vape store or order it online from somebody like Discount Vapers. It does add about an extra 1/2" to your mod.

May I suggest the Nautilus mini tank instead of the bigger Nautilus for a Triton battery. That big tank is a lot on top, and the glass is not unbreakable. The mini seems more durable, albeit it's glass also.

Evie Luv posted a pic of the Mini Naughty on a Triton in one of the threads I linked above.

Enjoy.

No problem.

I do wish the standard connection was the Triton style rather than the horrid 510. So easy to change tanks, and never a problem with Triton tanks. And this after two years of use.

When you get a 510/ego adapter, try to get one with threads that are deep. The threads should reach deep into the mod. The one I got with my iStick 20w last year had shallow threads, and eventually wore out the threads in the iStick. Now I can only use a Mini Naughty on the stick cause it has deep treads.

I still like the Triton tanks over the Mini Naughty. And, maybe it's me, but the Tritons seem do deliver more flavor than the Mini. I also like top coils over bottom.
