I loved the flexibility of VV/VW mods. The reason I gravitated to mechanicals is because I have a boneyard of dead VV/VW devices. Ultimately a VV device can help you decide what vape you prefer. A lot of people don't mess with their settings once they find what works. VV devices appear to be more versatile, but in the end they can also limit what is possible and desirable. Other than "adjusting on the fly", I can do more with a mechanical than I can with a VV.

My main complaint with VV/VW is not how they work WHEN they work, it is how long they work before giving up the ghost. Add to that their inability to produce 20w of better quality and flavor with out dry hits or nasty taste.

Use a provari to build a coil? Sorry mate but that is just rubbish. Building a coil on a mech is easier getting out hot spots, etc. Then when it's done, if it's able, go digital; not the other way around. As much as I love my provari, it gets way less use than my mechs. It on my shelf with my other digitals as a "oooo look what I have" and less "yeh, look what I use..." Genny users fiddle with our coils not our volts. So to the OP, there is a reason a mech/digital hybrid isn't out, no demand.

I love being right.
A PBusardo Video - Vape Bash 2013 - YouTube
Check out the last interview in pbusardos video. Go to 47:48 and take a look at the DNA20 tube mod/ mech mod by the makers of fluid vapors. It looks pretty hot.

Right about what? This is a module you have to take off for it to be mechanical, and that's not exactly what you talked about, it's nothing really new either.
Super T have had the Kicklet/kick combo for quite some time. The DNA20 is much better device though.
