He's got a PHD, or better, and wants the e-cigs totally legalized in New Zealand and the world! I think it's a DR thing...but does stress the danger factor of e-liquids. We tend to take for granted they're ok to vape, and we get complacent about using them because we handle them every day. But nicotine does pose a threat, kids and pets, but also it is absorbable through the skin, as well as the mouth, nose and throat. So you have to consider the source. NZ is closer to approval than any other country. This is the entity that did the testing and clinical trials for Ruyan of China.
Many people who post on the Forum do go to the edge sometimes of foolishness with their use of HIGH++ nicotine liquid and DIY processes.
I thought that was harsh too, but it's also right for him to stress the danger.

Yeah. I almost lost a convert to e-cigs over the fact that she got a drop on her finger and it ate several layers of skin off. Obviously, she has a higher skin sensitivity to it than most. But her immediate thought was, "Oh my god...If it does this to my skin, what's it doing to my lungs when I inhale it?!" I reminded her that what analogs do to her lungs is far, far worse, and eventually she came back around.

But yes, the liquid itself can be dangerous, and should be kept out of reach and in protective containers, like any other potential toxin.
