I've heard that most vape gear is hard to get down there, and expensive when you do find it. True ?

Well, I don't really have anything to compare against and I'm quite new to the game, but I don't feel it's exhobitant. Then again, our cigarette prices are really high, so vaping feels cheap.

Where I live there are a few pretty good vape stores (more seem to spring up every week for some reason) and they all get the popular tanks and mods and what-not; if I want to save a few bucks then places like Fasttech and GearBest deliver for free.

However, I recently bought the OBS Engine Nano for $34 AUD at a local shop. On Fasttech, it comes in at $21.35 USD - do the conversion and it's ~$28.5 AUD, and I don't really mind the extra few bucks to have it in my hand right ......n now.

I am often shocked at UK prices - you change the dollar sign to the pound, but leave the numbers the same. That's gotta hurt the pocket for sure.

I got my Digiflavor Fuji from Efun.top today. Only took 2 weeks from order to deliver. Pretty good!!

The air hole in this thing is huge. Must be 5mm or more. I tried using my standard techniques to reduce the size of the air hole but they were too small. In the end, I cut off the tip of an eliquid bottle and manually drilled that out to be close to 2.4mm. The tip is plastic so I had to push it way down into the air hole to keep it away from the coil. Not sure this is a good idea but I wanted to see if I could bring it down to the same as the Siren. This seems to work very well. As it stands, you can see how much air flow I have open on both of them and the air flow matches. I tried reducing the Siren down to the second smallest hole and I could easily set the Fuji to have the same airflow without it being fully closed off. Flavor so far is the same. I am on my first tank so will let you know once I run a few tanks thru it.

If it wasn't for the top airflow, these two tanks would be about the same size. For most of us, that is a total waste of time. You get nothing but air if you open it.

This is the tip that I used.

I am very impressed! Thanks for the link. I am excited about this as a possibility. Are all drill bits marked with sizes, and is the 2.4mm drill bit a common size or is that size generally for a more specialized drill? I don't even know if my husband has a drill, but if he doesn't, he may be getting one soon!

Just FYI, a 3/32" drill bit is roughly 2.4mm - think it's 2.38125mm, to be more exact. A 3/32" drill bit can be bought individually at most hardware stores in the US; you don't need a drill to get a drill bit.

Although I think most men like toys... :)

I didn't actually use a drill. I took a slotted 2.4mm screw driver and pushed it thru while turning it. Took me a while. I may try drilling before cutting next time. I ordered 2 more of these $12.12 delivered for each of them. I have been vaping it all day and am very pleased with it. Just like the Siren and no seepage at the air control ring (at least not yet!!).

If I remember correctly, you like a tight draw. If so, don't drill it to 2.4mm. Go to 2mm instead and it will probably work better for you.

Sorry, meant this for JustWondering!!!!

Thanks Jumpin!

I'm going to hang onto this info for either screwdriver or drillbit shopping!

Wowzer!! Thanks Dark! I was hoping this would come to be! I just hope they do the remake right! My feeling is that they know the open chamber on the 25 led to problems and that's why they made the change. I hope they leave the 22mm exactly as it is with the exception of adding a smaller afc hole. That's all it needs!! I hope they don't abandon the 22 completely either.

Given that I have no clue if I'll like the new Siren, I would still buy a ton of the current 22s if JC can find them. The current 22s are an awesome, proven tank that I want many more of. So, please, JC, keep the search going!! I am sold!!

Did you read those posts over there ? Those pinheads are calling the Siren a "Really loose MTL". Heii, they don't even know how to use the Damm thing correctly !

No kidding 52! I couldn't believe what I was reading! It's a great MTL vape! I'd love a smaller afc hole, but even without that, it's my favorite tank ever!

Yeah, JW and I vape about the same, in fact, If we switched vapes (with the same juice of course) we prolly couldn't tell the difference.

Well, I didn't get a return call from FogItUp's Erin, when I left a message for her Saturday. But I did get an email confirmation of a credit to my CC for the Siren's they didn't have, and evidently can't get from their network of retailers. At least that's the way it seems to me anyway now. I'm not hanging around waiting for them.

So, I did talk to the vendor later this afternoon, that I mentioned in my last post, who would probably help us obtain Siren's one way or another. She's checking with 1 of her regular suppliers in China, and is also going to checkout the ones I found on DHGate that have minimum purchase quantities of 10 and 15. Said her husband used to do all their ordering and he may have even dealt with DHGate before. She was emailing her China supplier about them...as we were speaking, and was going to check out the DHGate sellers tonight. In the longrun she said, "If they're available...I can get them for you". She'll call me late afternoon tomorrow to let me know where things stand with them.
