Hrm. So decided to take a break from my KF Mini v3 and get around to building my Siren V2 22mm... Welp, after flooding 2.5 tanks worth of juice out the bottom, not sure what I'm doing wrong. Tried stuffing more than enough cotton in there and flooding after 4-5 draws. Tried moving the coil up and down a bit over the holes and same thing. Only thing I can think of is using either a bigger coil to get more cotton to stuff up the juice "Wells" (currently built a 2.5mm 28ga 1.8ohm coil) or using a thicker juice (vaping a 60/40 blend atm). Any other ideas? Love the look and idea of this tank, but it's already been a pain in my ... and a waste of juice. :(

Is the clear o-ring still in place right at bottom of base?

Yep. I should have said it is flooding/leaking out of the airflow holes.

I don't have the v2 that I ordered yet but I had the same thing happen with the v1 if I tried putting in a coil any smaller than 3mm then I didn't get enough cotton in and it leaked. Try a bigger coil.

Noted. Will definitely trying a 3mm coil tonight. I figured that would be the answer but I thought I would ask since it never hurts.

Boss, another thing to keep an eye on is if your wick is touching the raised center deck(the bit with the 3 holes). If your wick is touching the top of that at all, it will leak out the air hole. The liquid will climb the wick and then seep onto the air deck. Since the air holes themselves are not raised, the liquid will just feed down them.

The fix is just to put your tweezers or something in between that center deck and your cotton while the cotton is primed. Here is a quick video, around the 1:30 mark you can see the idea of it. You probably don't need to be as extreme as what's shown but it gives you the idea. Your wick should look like an upside down U instead of an upside down V, so that it doesn't touch the center.

This happens to me on all sirens, berserker and kayfun 5's.

The siren's other leaking problem is if you don't have enough cotton to fill the wick holes or you've compressed them too much during the wicking/priming phase of the build. I also use a 2.5mm ID coil on my sirens. So long as i fluff out the cotton and dont compress it into the wick holes it wont leak.

Just received her. Popped in a 3mm 1.0ohm st st coil and loaded her up with RY4 D. No gurgles. Very smooth and definitely good flavour. Happy chappy...!

Update: yep. 3mm coil did the trick. I tried almost chocking the coil with cotton at 2.5mm and she still flooded like a beast. 3mm I wicked as normal with a different, cheaper juice I didn't care for, and it's working like a charm! :) Now to kill this tank (unfortunately for the next day or so since I don't like wasting juice) and try again with my ADV and I'm sure Ill get good results. I will say I like this juice out of the Siren more than any prebuilt coil out of my Kabuki/Nautilus 2/Nicolas. It came out way higher than I'm used to since I usually build at 1.6-1.8 - at 3mm it came out to 2.4, but it's an enjoyable vape. I just wish I found it out sooner than this than wasting ~1/4 of a 30ml of my Halo Tribeca. Don't know why but I first stopped smoking with that juice and I keep coming back despite the steep price. Cheers folks. Learn from my mistakes! ;)

Saw this after the update since I mostly post on mibile, but after the first wicking of flooding I made sure of it. I like trial and error and made sure this wasn't happening after the first tank that flooded out. I guess I was too confident in myself and kept pouring tanks of liquid in before I found out I shouldnt be too confident in a new tank that I don't build aka GTAs. XD

I liked the Siren V1 for it's flavor and long-lasting wicks - but has always been a "stay at home" atty because of it's tendency to weep/leak.
Have been hoping V2 would be an improvement.
Seems the jury is still out on that.
Hoping for more reviews here addressing this.
Too many options I'm considering to jump in at this point.

I got tired of waiting for the one I ordered so I ordered another one that should get here quicker. That is if usps doesn't lose another package on me.

Good idea! I'm too cheap (thrifty?) for that. Because if for some reason I don't like it (I have high hopes as I love the v1), then I'd be stuck with 2 of them!

    Somewhere between here and there
I personally would at least contact them and let them know about the mistake. Chances are that they will either send you one and let you keep that one or give you a store credit. I did have a bad experience once with sourcemore and haven't ordered from them since.

I contacted them today on their website livechat and the operator said that I should sell the 2 ml version and that they will give me "half of the points", so that I can reorder. I said no and that they should reply to the email message (complaint) I had sent them yesterday.

They replied to it immediately afterwards and said "how about we reship you the right one once we have it? and you don't need to send the wrong item back". I said yes, that would be fair.
So they're either messing with me or they will really send the 4.5 ml version when they get it on stock. I don't know anymore, these chinese vendors are sometimes a pain in the ....

Just got my 22ml version. No leaks or anything. 3mm 24g SS 8 wrap. The only issue so far is it doesnt breathe and vent the vacuum in the tank like every other tank ive ever owned. Currently have 3 augvape merlin mini's and they are amazing besides the same issue. Ill have to thin out the wicking a touch and report back.

Got my 2ml version today. Asked for gun metal but got black and 3 bottles of juice.
I used one of the 2 coils that came with it. Seems to be 26 gauge with 7 turns at about 1.0 ohms. No idea what metal. My first time at wicking using cotton bacon. One leg is shorter than the other but hey ho.
And it's great. No leaks (yet). Running at 23 watts and nice easy draw and the shop bought juice tastes great. Didn't want to spoil the experience with one of my own home brewed concoctions.

    Well happy.
