I'm back with a 7 day report on my siren 2, 22mm. So far this atomizer is the best MTL ive ever used thus far in my 6 years of vaping. It never dry hits, doesn't leak, super easy to fill and it just always works. It's better than my merlin mini's(by a little), kayun 3 lites, kayfun 4s, kayfun 5's in most aspects. I don't have a kayfun prime yet but if i had to guess it will be right up there with it, for a much lower price point.

One of the aspects i like most is you can vape it at somewhat higher wattages with say a 24gauge .37 ohm SS build, or you can run a cooler higher ohm build with lower wattage no problem.

The temp control aspect works great, no fluctuations. i am actually quite surprised it works so well, because in all truth the my Siren v1 was just above terrible and sat on a desk after 3 days due to seepage and the draw being terrible(yes i drilled a smaller hole). The issue with the v1 with a smaller hole ended up being the cavity the airflow goes through was large and you could feel the vacuum take time to build up in the bottom of the atty and to me it just didn't vape right because of it. Don't know if that makes sense, but it's the same with most of the atty's that are direct lung but claim they can do MTL, it just doesn't work because the draw feels subdued.

Now there are 2 cons from me, but only one is really a con. Airflow(draw) is great, but on the 1.5 mm single hole setting..or multiple single hole settings it whistles just ever ever so slightly, it's very hard to notice unless your ocd like me. I vape it using the slot on the first 2 or 3 holes and zero whistling, nice and quiet, with a great draw. My second sort of con, is that it's fugly, and i hate the anodized stainless look they went with. This is pretty much subjective obviously.

One other thing im testing for, is how long a wick typically will last because it matters to me, and also tells me how well the juice flows to an extent. Also temp control mode will tell you how well the atty wicks as well..because it wont fluctuate as the tank gains vacuum. The merlin mini is an amazing little atty but unless the wicking is 99% spot on, you will have to open to top from time to time to vent the vacuum or temp control mode will start hitting lighter due to liquid flow stalling. This makes it a very finicky atty to use day to day, no one want's to leave the house after a fresh wick and find out they did it wrong and have to unscrew the top to vent it every 5-10 hits. While im running away here with way to much detail it reminds me back to the Kayfun 4, which just could never keep up with any kind of decent vaping, the vacuum and juice flow basically sticks you to about 18 watts or bust, and then even at that you were lucky to get 3-6 days out of a wick because it was always just short of dry burning the wick from lack of juice.

Anyways going to end this rant and say that im sorry i didn't buy the 24mm right out of the gate(epetite dna 60 is a small mod). I will for sure buy the 24mm here shortly, just not in stainless. Grade A atomizer so far, it feels like the vape companies finally love us again with all these new MTL atties. Love it.

That video review by PBusardo was very helpful for me. Thank you green.on.green. I was having all sorts of wicking problems with this tank, basically just burning them. I thought maybe the deck was to high. I tried every which way to wick it and then thought about spacing the coils. The video helped identify the issues and showed a good way of spacing the coils. I am now very happy with this tank as its vaping a treat. The upside is that I have gained more experience in cutting and trimming wicks over the last few days then I ever imagined. Maybe I could become a hairdresser and specialise in the latest 'wick' look. Kim Jong Un eat your heart out. Then again......maybe not.

I have to wait another week for the funds to become available to order a few of these. Looking forward to trying it out, since I still enjoy the vape experience of the V1 (when it's wicked correctly and doesn't drain). I'm excited for these as well as the Innokin Ares a few weeks later.

Has anyone else had issues with the top cap? The top cap uses a bayonet-style closure mechanism. The mechanism on mine will not allow me to tighten the top cap. Even after tightening the top cap as firmly as I can, it can come unscrewed with the touch of a finger. This resulted in the top cap falling off within the first hour of use and unloading its e-liquid all over my pants and the brand new H Cigar VT40 that it was attached to.

I’m hoping my issue is an anomaly.

My top cap is pretty snug, you won't be knocking it off unless you grab with two fingers and twist. Now that being said i have a 24mm coming on friday, so hopefully that's a one off or something is wrong with the gasket on yours and you can just replace it. If it's not tight i would contact wherever you got it from. also eciggity has all of them in stock, it's where i've picked up both of mine.

Yeah, I'm still waiting on my black 24mm. Appears that Origin Vapes is out on all 24mm when I checked yesterday. Been waiting since Aug. grrrrrrr

I ended up ordering from eciggity last night, all shows in stock, so we will see if true and ships today, I ordered the black 24mm. Origin vapes showing out of stock, did me a favor, as found out I had just over $10 of reward points, so ended up getting the black 24mm, for $23 shipped :D

I haven't had any issues with the top cap but haven't tried using this tank as a carry around yet. It's been staying on a mod at home.

You'd know right away if yours had the same issue as mine. Literally a soft touch from my finger will unscrew it.

eciggity is legit and really does have them in stock. you can get them for around 29 shipped with the tenoff coupon. it does take an extra day or two being hawaii, but ive gotten 2 sirens from them before my Ftech order has even shipped out.

You are correct, got tracking # now :)

Did anyone order the 24mm from 2Fdeal? I ordered from them earlier this week because it did not appear to be a pre-order and they had the Berserker too, but it hasn't shipped yet. Usually 2F ships more quickly.
I ordered the 24mm from them today in gun metal. After I paid I realized I had ordered a clone? I thought it was just cheap because of the 11/11 sale nonsense. Well It looked authentic but says "styled" in the description and the price was CHEAP. Guess I will find out if it was worth it when it arrives. Can't believe they already have clones of this for sale when it was just released.
