Dilute e-juice with water?

Can I dilute e-juice with plain tap water and if not, why?

Hello, if the juice is too thick you can add a couple drops of water to a tank. If your wanting to cut your nicotine level, I would recommend buying the same flavor but or zero nicotine or buy straight ups VG from wallmart and dilute it either by 2:1 or 1:1.

Most here would recommend using distilled water rather than tap water. The minerals in tap water can cause your coils to gunk up more quickly.

Actually I got a batch of caramel coffee liquid thats fairly thick (and it's supposed to be a 50/50 blend) so I'm looking to thin it a bit.

Sure.

But if the Water coming out of Your Tap is like the Water coming out of My Tap, then I would Suggest using Distilled Water.

Yes, tap water can be real gross.
Depends on where you live, but I know here in Los Angeles, it is one yukky beast
