Could I add plain tap water or filtered water to e juice to reduce the strength/ flavor? I use cvape and a vision spinner sets.

You should use distilled water; residue that can't evaporate will accumulate on the coil.

I have used pot cover water (water from steam that condenses on pot cover - actually from a thingy that covers over food on the table is what I used).

But I stopped because I'm concerning about water content getting down near the electrical contacts; instead I'm buying 100% PG eliquid and adding VG to it.

Don't use tap water, it has chlorine and other chemicals in it that you really should not vape.

I highly suggest just buying some PG and VG. $33ish for a quart of each that will last you a long time, or $55 for a gallon of each that will last you forever. Of course you could just go with the quart of PG if you want to dilute your juice, but both might come in handy one day.

or gallons..

Some people use distilled water or Pure grain alcohol. A few drops to start with and go from there (apparently). It also lessens the flavor.

Also, the search function can be your friend. To find threads on adding water I put "dilute water" in the keyword field (under the first search field) and set it to search for "thread titles" instead of all posts. :)

You can add a drop or two of distilled water in a pinch, especially is your juice is thick and contains a lot of VG, but really, you should use plain PG or VG to dilute your eliquids--vaping watery juices is no fun.

You can buy unflavored base (either PG, VG, or a blend), with or without nicotine, from many eliquid vendors.

yeah I found too much water also reduces foggyness;

I'd thought maybe since it was supposed to be water vapor anyway, the adding the water could only do good things; but it didn't;

i suppose what happens is you're producing a vapor which attracts water vapor to condense onto it; so starting with too much water means it already has alot of water and does not attract as much water from the humidity around it.
