Ok, I finally figured out the nasty taste. It was the NIC in the juices! I went out and got some glycerin, and found a local store with Lorann apple flavor. Cut the smoke juice WAY back with the glycerin, added just a touch of distilled water, and some apple drops. MUCH better!

Since I am trying to get off the nicotine anyway, I am not upset that the "nasty stuff" was the nicotine. Actually, it helps me any time I think about reaching for an analoug. Maybe the tobacco industry had to use 4000 carcinigins <sp> just to mask the nicotine taste! LOL

Anyway, I'm happily vaping away with cherry and apple flavors, and have ordered a variety from Lorann website.

Thanks everyone!
