Just for the record....(jet's comment above)

I'm rather dubious about anything that claims be be a tank and also a dripper...aka best of both worlds.

The whole point of dripping is not to have a tank, filler, juice holder of any kind. Sure, the coil/mesh configuration varies. But that's it. Minimal at that.

It's true that a bottom feeder is similar to dripping...just that you squonk a bottle rather than drip drops from the top....it uses a standard atty but lets it feed from the bottom with a tube.

you could take a cartomizer remove the end cap and the wading with a pair of tweezers but don't touch the tube in the middle. put 4 drips between the tube and the outer casing and away you go . works well for me and lasts a couple of months at least. easy.

OK...with a bottom coil carto. But that's similar to an atomizer...why not just use an atomizer? (The atty has a better mesh/coil combo). Not dissing it. Just... if you're deconstructing it anyway...why not use an atty? I know cartos are less expensive, so I guess that's a factor. Good for when you have a working carto that's got filler-melt or something and you want to get extra mileage out of it dripping.

Dripping is far superior IMHO, you might get a dry hit every once in a while but you can just top off the attie and it goes away. I hate that when you get a dry hit with a clearo theres no immediate fix.
If you don't mind fiddling with stuff and building your own coils you should definitely give the IGO-L a shot, mine fits upwards of 20 drops so I can definitely chain vape for a good long while on it and not have to worry about dry hits.

Let us know how that Amp tank works out for you? I heard they were a little bit finicky to get dialed in right for a precise amount of liquid. Seems like an overly complicated (and expensive) solution where there really isn't a problem, IMHO anyway ;)

I always vastly preferred the flavor of dripping but the process drove me batty—too much attention from me required and too little time in the happy Goldilocks crackle zone with too much in the frustratingly dry and gurgly zones.

I was happily shocked that the AMP Tank provides both the taste and performance of direct dripping. Despite the high price I bought two more. This is "pry out of my cold dead hands" gear for me.

Some people have had some issues getting their AMP Tanks set up to auto-feed correctly but I watched the available videos, followed the directions and have had nothing but success with my 70PG/30VG juices. I also find the AMP Tanks manual mode to be much, much, much easier to use to keep the atty fed the perfect amount of juice than direct dripping.

It is my understanding that the GGTS/UFS combo produces similar results but they are quite difficult to find for sale.

I'm a relative noob to dripping...only 4 days. I've used both top coil and bottom coil clearos and think that top coils taste maybe a little bit better. Cartos were like sucking on a wet sponge. I went to dripping for the flavor and am glad I did. I'm still figuring it out but think I'm going with a REO. I like the concept and lack of mess. Good luck on your journey.

I will respectfully disagree that the AMP Tank doesn't over a solution to a problem. I'm always looking for a JDS with the flavor of dripping with higher capacity (playing with the Killer 705 at the moment). I love dripping, but it's inconvenient most of the time and I'm clumsy enough that I don't want to do it near my beloved laptop. For situations like parties or bars, I'd never use a direct-dripping atomizer. I would lose a ton of juice that way. :p
