Disappointed by strawberries

Strawberry from backwoods brew is a light flavored tart strawberry and its pretty close to the taste of true strawberry. Its pretty dern good if I do say so myself.

A whole week with the cap off. Every other day I'd shake it to mix it up again and give it two more days with the cap off

I wonder if it may be the flavoring (like I mentioned before) that they used. I know some of the strawberries I've had use it, and had that "aftertaste". I'd give it another week but it might be that flavoring (I wish I could tell you if it was TPA, capella's, etc but I haven't found out for myself yet).
