Fun stuff here. I went to a party last night and laid my coat in the corner. Inside my coat was my 5v box mod with a syringe mod on it. Apparently I didn't turn off the master switch and the button got pressed! Needless to say, I picked up my coat and the worst smell came out of it. The syringe had melted all the way down past the cup! Note to self... integrate protection circuitry!

Did you possibly fill it too full? If it's leaking out the air holes the juice is going from the ceramic cup down the air tube. Also, if you get juice in the cup while filling it run straight down. I do it now and then!

What she said and if the condensation builds up it can travel down the airflow tube and out the end.

It wasn't over filled, but the entire carto emptied onto my desk. I am thinking that I may have broken the little air tube.

That's one of the problems with the CE2, once you take it apart, they're pretty fragile. As soon as the mod is completed, they're stable again but from the time that you cut them to the time they're in place, they are very easy to ruin. Jump back on the horse and try again, haha. Good luck! Storm's syringe mods work very well once built!

It sounds like the air tube is loose on the ceramic cup. A length of heat shrink tubing is installed to prevent this, but it is rarely tight enough for a tight seal. Sometimes it can be so loose that it will empty the carto due to capillary action.

In these cases, I usually heat it enough to make it tighter. However, a used carto will have juice in between and it must be cleaned and dried before it will seal.
